When I beat Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and when I saw the main character, Zack, just lying on the ground, covered in his own blood, then Cloud comes crawling over (by the way this is at sometime around the morning, in a slightly heavy rain), then Zack tells Cloud that he (Cloud) will be living proof of Zack's existence. While all of that was happening, I started to become teary eyed. My eyes are starting to water just by thinking about it.Thank you very much.
MY LIFE IS END.

I haven't cried over characters or plot but some game music has brought a tear to my eye. There's something about symphony that's just moving.

I cried while playing a lot of games, the most memorable is Okami though, the ending was emotional.

If visual novels count, then yes, i've cried, or at least had to hold back tears.

Most every JRPG I have ever played has made me feel emotional to some extent,nowhere near crying though.

I cried once when i was playing Amagami (out of happiness, that is).
The characters are just too cute!! (^o^)
And I almost cried watching the last few episodes of Mahoromatic and a few VNs.

I want to remember being on the brink several times, though I'm the type of person to hold his tears back. Can't recall any specific moments though (Except when I didn't know you could save pokémon back when Red and Blue were the only ones that existed. I had come so far in a single session, then the batteries ran out ^^)
