grinding so hard, question which armor should i upgrade and its my first play.
Whichever character's route you are on. If you upgrade the armor enough of the girl who's route you are on, you will unlock H-scenes (starting in like chapter 4 or something).
Frankly, don't bother upgrading until probably chapter 7-8. If you do it earlier, you might find yourself a bit short on cash, especially since this is your first playthrough.
i think im going to have a hard time coz im pretty much wasting money even though im only at chapter 5

Just try and make it through the first play through. Making money gets a hell of a lot easier once you beat the game once.

Only effective until level ~70 maybe 75, and that's only with the final Deadbeat dungeon. But since you're only on your first playthrough, Wil at level 60-70 is more than enough to easily clear the game.
does anyone know which monsters and where can I find flame fragments and snake claw?
Flame Kankuri found in any Chaotic Warground map for the flame fragments.
Snake Claw are dropped by Takush which are in Rogue's Den in the Limestone Caverns. This map isn't unlocked unless you decide to follow through with the merchant escort/dragon quest line.
I find the Seiha Wikia more complete and better when it comes to item lists and monster lists and locations. Aside from those, the Eushully/Kamidori wiki is better.

thanks I have another question. how long does the deadbeat label last or is it permanent?
im having a tough time finishing the alchemy test grounds anyone know how i can finish it i can't even pass the first part
open the two chests that people gather. Since the market is not on the map, the answer is the Arena and the Bar. So look at the town map and compare the two locations. The ones open should be the top row, left. And second from bottom row, right.

It lasts until you beat the boss of the deadbeat dungeon in the Deadbeat God map. He's level 70. But it's generally a better idea to just keep hitting it for exp rather than killing it, cause it's the only deadbeat monster that won't respawn if you kill it until you start a new game.
