Excellent writing, excellent mood, but I feel that the later half fell short of expectation. As I go through all five endings it's not an exaggeration to say that my interest dwindled more and more to the point I just wanted to see the true end. And it wasn't satisfying.
I would recommend that you aim for the true end right from the beginning for maximum impact, but unfortunately you need a second playthrough at least to get it. No wonder they needed a Kara no Shoujo 2, the story feels thoroughly incomplete and lacking the decisive closure.
I don't see really negative stuff in your review, but I do agree you should aim for the true end as fast as possible. Skipping text until you see something new takes the fun away and decreases your involvement( lack of a better word) in the story.
Same stuff happened to me playing the kazoku keikaku game. I gave up after 2 endings -_-, one of the the black haired one, the other I forgot. . .
