That's how all true ends tend to work, afaik.

Well I didn't expect " and they lived happily ever after" with the mood that the game has set from the beginning, but dear god murphy's law is really present in this game, if someone is to die, then they will die.

really, really , REALLY unfortunate there isn't a real "happy ending", but it just suits the game not to have one.

Just finished it. Great game and absolutly worth the time you invest in it.

Excellent writing, excellent mood, but I feel that the later half fell short of expectation. As I go through all five endings it's not an exaggeration to say that my interest dwindled more and more to the point I just wanted to see the true end. And it wasn't satisfying.

I would recommend that you aim for the true end right from the beginning for maximum impact, but unfortunately you need a second playthrough at least to get it. No wonder they needed a Kara no Shoujo 2, the story feels thoroughly incomplete and lacking the decisive closure.

I don't see really negative stuff in your review, but I do agree you should aim for the true end as fast as possible. Skipping text until you see something new takes the fun away and decreases your involvement( lack of a better word) in the story.
Same stuff happened to me playing the kazoku keikaku game. I gave up after 2 endings -_-, one of the the black haired one, the other I forgot. . .

Is it just me, or is it really hard to save at this game? I need 10 sec just to open the save menu

I don't think so. The game was released in english by mangagamer so there's no need for a english patch. You can download the game that it was released without voices, the crack, the voice patch, the font patch and the bugfix in this page. You can also find there the walkthrough.

I gotta amit though this story.....I really wished the ending wasnt such a....

Exactly!, I personally also liked Tsuzuriko, although Toko was a good woman also. True end really disappointed me and it left a few unanswered questions.
