this game looks like zombie panic source.... seriously. the same maps with same zombie survivors gameplay...

btw, zombie panic source is a free hf2 mod u can get on steam. I might buy this if the reviews turn out good.

The difference is zombie panic sucks and this doesn't.

It comes out on November 20. 2 months, 16 days till the zombie apocalypse. Shotguns at the ready.

Psh, a true knowledgeable person about zombie attacks would know that shotguns are one of the weapons that are not in top [riority for survival. It's all about semi fire rifles. Conserve bullets and can kill from distances.

But these zombies are actually fast, so distance might not be an option.

Zombies aren't suppose to be fast but even if they were, it would further mean that having a rifle is better. Taking them out from long range is good. A shotgun is too risky as it needs to be close for it to be effective, and being attacked by running ones will further heighten the danger. They have an even better chance of getting you now. But the best thing to do is always creep past them quietly during the day. Zombies don't have functioning eyes, they hunt mostly by hearing. But I know this fact will probably not be accpeted into this game.

I used to play counter strike all the time and half life so i know that valve will make a pretty good game.

Valve's Gabe Newell has announced a playable demo of the co-op survival horror game Left 4 Dead that will be released for both Xbox 360 and PC and will feature both single player mode and online co-op play.

As for content, Newell told VideoGamer, "I don't know what the date is for release [of the demo] though. I think it's going to contain the first part of one of the campaigns. I think it'll probably be Hospital but I'm not sure."

Left 4 Dead is due to hit the shops at the end of November, but there is no word if the demo will be out first or will appear later to try and mop up any stragglers.

God I hope its before, I feel the need to slaughter zombies. :twisted:

Plus, if they included everything that zombies are supposed to be, they would have to program the bodies to react to actual damage (snapping a spine just makes the target fall to the ground and start to crawl after you), plus they would need to up the amount of enemies to computer crashing levels to provide a challenge in an FPS environment.
Plus they're more Resident Evil zombies from what I've seen, with the crazy mutations and all that stuff.

The original scientific zombie theory was that a virus would latch on to an alive cell in the brain. The body itself would have to be pretty fresh for the virus to work. If the body was dead, the virus had limited time of infecting it. From this it would enter into the cell's protein synthesizing mechanics. There, the virus's RNA enters into the sequence to create more viruses of itself. Soon the virus would have grown to take over all neural patterns. Cells are being forced into only synthesizing more viruses and basic functions of the cells disappear. If the body was already dead but still fresh in a days period, some of the cells would still function enough to create some viruses, if all cells were dead then the virus wouldn't be able to make more of itself. The virus doesn't need any oxygen or nutrients to go on and because of that the host will die as the cells will not respond to any basic functions of stomach digestion or respiration. The virus only needs to reproduce to a set amount. Once the virus has complete control of the body, it will use old neural memories to move the given body. By basic simple instincts, the living corpse will try to eat people by memory. The body though does not need nutrients and the body can’t digest; the consumed flesh is collected in the stomach until it bursts.

And Klorofolun, most of the zombies are fast running ones, their are only 5 mutant ones.

Either a good machine and also a spare shotty anyway how many fire power u can carry with u ? if i were to play tis game i definitely need the machine and shotty combo, against zombies tis is my best odd at survival...

Main gun and a handgun from what I've seen. Plus health kit and grenades/moltov cocktails.
