Marvel vs Capcom 3

So i heard from a friend(you know who you are) that CRAPCOM wants to or is going to make a ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 which will feature 12 new character. capcom just like most other companys want to milk you dry of money.

i'm not buying it at all. i don't have money and if i did i need that to pay for school and my tools. also on this economy who can afford to pay this?

Account Share system is also pretty rad if you don't have a job.
and it's legal too. BUT if this is another DLC addon like SSF IV Arcade Edition, if not, than I'll ignore it.

yeah that i know but its stupid to do so. Just make it a dlc so more people can afford it. I was talking to somebody about this earlier and they had the same opinion as me.

Considering how much needs to be coded into the game, a 10-12 character expansion as DLC would probably equal out or be just under the cost of a disc release anyways.

Besides that, its still unknown as to what other changes will be made to the game. Chances are, if its a retail release, there's probably gonna be more to it than just characters and balance tweaks.

No need to go into a tirade over it. SSFIV had 10 new characters, rebalance and new stages and the game cost $40, don't forget that there is spectator and a replay channel added to this. wouldn't doubt it if they charge about the same once again with UMVC3 either.

AE costs $15 as DLC or get the disc for $40, a lot of fans bought it as DLC since it came out earlier and it costs less. Capcom could have just released a disc version again for $40. Both versions include the Elite channel and new Follow system too.

Keep in mind that EVERY company is out there to make money, some can be a bit annoying in their business ways, but everyone does it. Nintendo has those crapton of gimmicks and add-ons to their systems and updates/revisions to their handhelds for example. Activision is stuck on just using the same franchises over and over.

Everyone is in a harsh position in this economy, I bought several games back then and now I am only going for a select few, I even sold a lot of games to people just to lessen the hit on my own money.

Huh... I'm suddenly feeling a LOT better about selling MVC3 in order to pay for my own copy of DW: Gundam 3. I was expecting Capcom to put out an upgraded version of MvC3 like they have SF4, but I didn't think that it would be this soon, nor with so many added characters.

Also, I don't see this as moneygrubbing so much as putting out a bundle pack for those who don't want to have to download seperate DLC packs. Borderlands did this with both a double add-on disk and a GOTY edition (complete with all of the DLC added to the main game) and I didn't hear anyone complain about that. It also helps to think of the game as an incentive for people who DON'T own the game to pick a copy themselves. In other words, you're NOT the target audience for this game.

I love the Penance Stare LVL 3 Hyper from Ghost Rider, but I must ask, how is he going to use that on Sentinel? He has no soul.

Oh, I am hella glad I sold my old copy to buy Gundam 3 when I did. I imagine the trade-in price for MvC3 at my local Gamestop would drop a good $10 after this.
