Mass Effect 2

So i just completed ME2 and im wondering if the DLC's really are worth the money? Seeing how everyone is complaining about their lenght and what not. Might as well just youtube some walkthrough to see what's going on in the story, or?

Imo I think its worth it. But that's my opinion

If you get any DLC, get Shadow Broker because that one is really fun and you get a chance to fix you're relationship with Liara If you had it in the first one. Also you can reset you're partners stats and learn a few funny things about them.

Oh, yes, the information on the companions was brilliant! :D Especially Grunt and Legion, but everyone had some interesting tidbits there.

Shadow Broker is short, but it is still worth it. Think of it like watching an epic 2 hour movie (except you are playing your commander Shepard character).

I like Kasumi Goto as a character, and she is pretty awesome to have in a fight. Her mission is on par with everyone else's character missions though, if not a bit more cinematic. Just a shame she doesn't have one on one dialog with Shepard - she just tells you stories like Zaeed.

Overlord isn't important for the main plot, but it actually is related to the novels. That said, it is still an awesome story and I was surprised at how dark it was. You don't have to play this, but I think it was fun. Takes about 3 hours to complete.

You do not need to get any of the character outfits or weapon packs. Also, if you bought a new copy instead of a used, you should get a couple of the DLC for free. If you bought it on PS3, you should get almost all of the main DLC for free. So if you DO want shadow broker, Kasumi, or Overlord, see if you don't save money buying a new copy.

I'd get all of DLC's in a heartbeat, except that my Live account is, you know, Eastern European region.


For some reason, it doesn't get DLC. At all. The only reason I have some (like Cerberus Armor or Zaeed) is because I originally registered my account elsewhere (Live service wasn't officially available here until some time ago).

If they don't fix it before 3, I will be angry.

By angry, I mean I will rage so fucking hard that Krogans will piss themselves dry, quads or no.

Well, I will have to check up on that soon enough.

I'm hella excited about the new DLC coming out in a couple days!

Tomorrow. I'm glad it is only 560MSP. I only have like seven hundred or so in my account, and can't even afford a 1600 point card right now. However, that leaves me a little disappointed. I can't imagine it being a terribly eventful, or big, DLC for that price. Then again, a couple five-hundred and sixty point DLC's for Mass Effect 2 were astonishing. Kasumi and Overlord in particular were awesome.

MAss Effect 2 Anime movie? And funimation is making it. MIGHT be good.

Sounds good to me. If it's animated, they can more easily use the same voices as in the games.
