Yes. The "extras" option is only unlocked after you at least clear unlimited once.

When I extract the DVD and run the setup, immediately after installing it claims one of the files is a Trojan. Is this a false positive or is anyone else getting this?

Yes, it's a false-positive. Sometimes that happens so you need to put the folder on the exceptions list or disable your anti-virus.

Okay, now I'm having a problem. At the end of installation, it tells me the game is installed, (before patching, by the way), and to test it, I try to start the unpatched game, but then it just tries to install it again. If I run the patch, it thinks the disc isn't there, despite that it is there. Help please?

Uninstall the game and restart your computer. Disable all kinds of security programs and install the game again (if using windows vista or seven use admin mode to install). Try even changing the installation folder.
By the way, mount and install first Muv Luv Extra. Save the installation for Unlimited for later.
As far as I remember, the patch just patches the game. It doesn't install it. Just select the folder where you have the game installed and it should be enough.

Tried that, but it didn't work. I tried re-downloading it, and I feel like a fracking idiot for not noticing it the first time. Apparently one of the files is broken, because no matter what program I use, the extraction gives a CRC error and says the ISO is broken for both games. I've re-downloaded it several times from here and it gives the same result every time. Does anyone have an alternative download link they can send my way?

I can't download it from the other Muv-Luv thread either, because that one only has Megaupload links for Extra and my google searches for it have not yielded promising results. I can't torrent either, because our campus network hates torrents.
