I actually had Time today to actually start playing this game...

Question: why is the text like... almost unreadable, some letters overlap each other and such, is this a normal problem, or did I do something wrong?

Also I have no idea how to save, It says you can save before a battle but... I have no idea when its gonna be "before the battle"... Yeah man...

I don't know about the text overlapping, didn't have that problem; but when to save is pretty easy. Throughout the game right before choices or battles (and right after battles) the words "Save Location" will appear in the text box. At that time you may save the game.

use applocale to start the game in japanese unicode and you won't have any overlapping and you would be able to read it all :P

remember guys this is only part 1 XD and i love it imagine they put someone like rance in here lol

Just kind of adding to my thoughts on the prior conversation but Illias tells him to "defeat" the monster lord not 'slay' if I remember correctly thus meaning its possible that Illias just wants him to subdue Alice - note its just a thought
