Some old Type-Moon collections i have, they are all FULLY English translated. Credit goes to mirrormoon and beastlair translation team. You just got to respect them for all this hard work for free. As a young boy, Shiki suffered a life-threatening injury. As a result of this injury, Shiki became able to see "death lines" on objects and people; if Shiki traces these lines with a sharp object, the person or object that they belong to will be cleanly and easily cut. Soon after discovering this power, he is given a special pair of glasses by a mysterious woman. While wearing these glasses, Shiki cannot see the lines, and can thus live life as normal. Later, Shiki discovers that he can also see a place where the lines meet known as "points" on objects and people; these act as more immediate and powerful versions of the "lines." Eventually, it is revealed that Shiki is not merely killing a person or destroying an object when he cuts its lines or stabs its points, but is instead annihilating the victim/object's existence, therefore killing the victim/object as a side effect. The game plot begins during Shiki's second year of high school. After spending eight years away from the Tohno household, which he was banished from after his injury, he moves back home following the death of the head of the Tohno family, Shiki's father. Shiki's sister, Akiha, assumes the responsibility of being the new head, and decides to let Shiki come back. Ohhh, good choice there dude

1.First step you will need WinRar, almost everything at the Visual Novel Section is compressed and Split with WinRar. You can get it here.

Download that and install it in your computer. You can now UnRaR and join compressed split file with WinRaR!! Which is also called Extract

2. After you have downloaded all the parts needed, right click the part.01 file and choose extract, all the parts you downloaded must be in the same folder.

After that I assume you would have problems with Daemon Tools too, for mounting, here is a short guide to installation I made 2 pages ago.

Dude since you have such wise eyes to choose to read Tsukihime, ill guide you on this one.

First rules first golden rules first

Set Regional Language to Japanese if you encounter problem installing
Basicly 99% of the VNs in this forum require you to do this. Go to Control Panel ->Regional and Language options -> Advance/Administrative -> Then change Non-Unicode Language to Japanese.

Most of the games need this settings, I dont know if this require but to be on the safe side you better or you may have problems installing or playing.

Ill guide you on Tsukihime since the rest are practically the same.

After you download Tsukihime Part 1, 2 and 3 plus the Translation patch.
Extract Part 1 , 2 and 3.

You will get three files, those three

Now to install the game, you will need to mount the image which means you need Daemon Tools

Heres the website to get them, I use Daemon Tools Lite, download it and install it.

After you install it you will see the Daemon Tools Lite in your toolbar

Select Device 0 the Empty one

A window will open and you have to browse for your Tsukihime ISO image at where you extracted Part 1 2 and 3, which is the ccd. Its one of the files you extracted earlier

now Click that ccd and open it.

A window will pop up and you can get to choose to Install it. Do not Install it, cancel it.

You browse for the arc.sar, go to My Computer, since you mounted the Tsukihime ccd, this appears

Explore it

go in the Tsukihime folder in there and click on the arc.sar in there.
Yes you have to furthur go in another time because this is what in the CD after you EXPLORE it

click and and continue your installation.

After the installation is done, place the CD folder which comes with your translation patch into the instal directory

Tsukihime Plus is a fandisc, it contains side stories after Tsukihime. It's a stand alone disc and would work on its own without the main story. Download on your preference, isnt really "important" as it can be exempted.

Is there any way to play tsukihime in full screen? Instead of windowed? I tried by changing the properties of the .exe but it doesn't work. Then i also tried the in game settings but there isn't a full screen option.

Thx. I just started the game and after the first choice (i chose #1) my game freezes after i talk to ceil. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Melty Blood and ReACT Final Tuned are more story focused, while Act Cadenza is strictly gameplay.

So it depends, download all of them if you want to play for story. If not, download Act Cadenza which has the best gameplay mechanics.

the ps2 version can be played on the ps2, logically speaking. the ps2 version is called F/SN Realta Nua. the translation patches available does not translate the ps2 disc images(hence it will not be translated on the ps2).

Sorry to be asking but could someone give me a hand with this. I have been experiencing problems with both Kagetsu Tohya and the Tsukihime Plus+Disc. With both I have used the guides, set regional language to Japanese and also have used both downloads for the Tsukihime Plus+Disc provided but I am still unable to get either working.

The original un-translated Kagetsu Tohya works fine but when installing the English Translation, despite selecting arc.nsa file, the translated game closes down straight away.

In the case of the Tsukihime Plus+Disc, when clicking on the icon of Neko-Arc, an error of some sorts occurs, (which I have provided in the image below).

If anyone can give me a hand with this your help would be much obliged.

Click change system locale to Japanese, will be asked to restart, do it

Note : Tab is Administrative, not Format/Location

Change that Unicode setting to Japanese, normally blue screens like that is Unicode problems

If you did,

did you download your Tsukihime Plus disc from this threand?

If I remember correctly, the Plus disc does not need to be installed, just extract and play

The method you installed Kagetsu tohya with English Installer does not seem to be wrong, the only thing I could think of is that your system unicode is not set to japanese as you said

Cheers, that fixed it, gah, i'm really looking foward to playing these two titles as Tsukihime and everything i've read/seen produced by Type-Moon has been awesome. Thanks again!

I can't install Tsukihime for some reason.
when i click on install and choose the directory,the installer begins to install the files that are 109 MB sized,but when it arrive around 3MB the MB Count stops and don't rise any longer so do the installation of the game doesn't sucessed.
how can i solve this trouble?
