-go to control panel
-then select regional and language options
-select administrative
-language for non-unicode programs
-then change it to japanese
-restart(it wont work if you dont restart it)

there you have it if this doesnt work reinstall the game.....

it can open japanese unicode
because this game doesnt open on english unicode...
so use applocale to open it...

open applocale
click "launch an application"
browse for the exe of the game yandere.exe in the main folder(shortcuts dont work)
click next
then select you language since its japanese select the very end, its the japanese..
then click next
click finish
go to start then program then microsoft applocale
in there you'll see a shortcut of the game
just drag in your desktop then your ready to play....
just click your icon...
