Maybe you could have people submit entries for game of the year or do like a process of elimination where 2 games face off each round and moves on and once they all get weeded out you make a list with like maybe 5 games and have people pick their game of the year

Maybe you should wait till the year is actually over. There's still a month left. Plenty of times to play lots of games.
