The DSi XL is not meant to compete with the DSi. They're aimed at different markets, so I see no surprise that they announced it so soon after the DSi.
Well, you have a point there, but the demographic for the DSi is so ambiguous. It basically targeted everyone without a DS who had never owned a GBA or other portable system before.

But even so, no matter how much they try to hide it with these refreshes, you still can't deny the fact that this thing is...like how many years old?
It'll be five years next month. A side note: the PS2 is 9.5 years old.

You can do many things with a PSP,download vids, upload pics, surf the internet, listen to music. A DSi can take up to 300 pics, you can ONLY listen to music if you have a SD card, surf the web, download crappy games from the internet, and make stupid noises.
For some reason, I always want to laugh when people bring this up.

I don't wanna piss anybody off,but I think the PSP owns the DS.
Not exactly conductive to "not wanting to piss people off". Also, saying that you're an ex-DS owner in no way actually justifies your own stance.

DON'T even get me started on the games.
That's a matter of perspective.

we just gotta wait for the XboX portable to see if the PSP is the most dominate handheld console.
Except we would be seeing if the DS is the most dominant handheld then, wouldn't we?
