This story takes place in an alternate future of Shanghai in which money and power rule the city, and mafia groups, which dominate in society, hire kung fu masters.

There are two types of kung fu masters: those who have mastered their internal chi and those who have mastered their physical skills. The chii masters can output a larger amount of energy, coming from each master's life itself, but it takes longer to master their chi. It was easier to train physical skills, but there was a limit to how strong the human body could be, so there was a balance of many average physical skill masters with a few strong chii masters; however, that balance broke when cybernetics came into play. Kung fu masters began to replace their own body parts with robotic parts, and attained strength that normal humans could never achieve. Because kung fu masters now can easily become powerful by using cybernetics, chii masters start to decrease in number.

The main character of the story, Kong Taoluo, used to be a loyal assassin of the mafia group, but one day his sister was raped and murdered by his friend Liu and others. He was also said to be killed, but he returned to city of Shanghai to avenge his sister. [by EvoSpace from Beast's Lair.]

Installation Instructions (READ THIS)

* Install Kikokugai.
* Using ExtractData or a similar tool, extract all of the files in Kikokugai's IMAGE.PK2 and move them to /cg/ in the game installation directory. Do the same for SOUND.PK2, moving its files to /sound/.
* Extract the Kikokugai English patch to the root, overwriting the files that it tells you to.
* Run Kikokugai - Saya Engine.exe and enjoy.

Please note that the game only runs in japanese locale (At least for me)
