Ur running on Windows 7 right? well maybe if u run as admin it might work...unless u've tried that already >.> Idk im not a techy Lol but my friend who has windows 7 sometimes has to do that xD Just trying to help

I used a windows xp, windows xp jap and windows 7
but in all of them i have that save problem so when i
try with out the Patch.xp3 i can save and load normally
but all in japanese.

err guys so it means the illmuni patch is overall complete like other translated patch or it is juz finished and not edited yet?

If there is a complete patch, can someone told me where to get?

I'm using Windows 7 and works fine for me. Just make sure you are in Japanese Unicode when you install it, and then move the Patch.xp3 into the folder where you installed it (adding admin rights if need be).Should be something like: C-Programs Files-Aloct- and then 幼なじみは大統領, place where place the patch. Make sure the name Patch.xp3 and place in the folder.

After that, you should be be able to play it no problem, with most of the text and menus translated. Some the menu options aren't translated, but at the bottom, it has the save, auto, load, etc options. Like aforementioned, just moving the patch into the folder should be enough. Currently, I think the site removed the other patch due to some edits, so I would just wait for that one or you can use the old one if you can't wait. Hope that helps.

I don't think redownloading the game will solve your problem, after all the prolem lay within the patch, if you play the game without patch,everything including save game will be back to normal.
Anyway, the savegame problem didn't seem to be a problem for me, i usually just skip the path i already read, well maybe it will take around 30second, but thats not abig deal,isn't it?

finding it hard playing the game.Are there routes or is this game linear? The thing that irks me is that some characters cannot be recruited if u already have a specific character :(

Nope, only partially for the most part. Check the first page in this thread and you can a find site that will tell you how much of it is done with updates every so often of the status.

hmm wierd... for some reason when using the patch, after getting a bit into Episode two of Ran route my game will show a blank textbox and refuse to let me get any further
