I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get kirikiri or whatever to work. Is there some sort of walkthrough or something somewhere? :( Or an easier way to play what they have translated besides a demo.

If that's the Putina Route patch again, you already posted it two pages and a few months back Lord_DF.
They seem to be stuck at 35/37 on Yukino route for editing for awhile now, said that some(one?) of them were going to scan over the Putina editing to correct anything or something like that though.
All we can do is wait patiently for a service that is provided free to us. Or learn Japanese. Freaking Kanji. *grumbles*

Download this file(Which is the english patch)

Place in the main folder(In my case, it was C:\Program Files (x86)\ALcot\å¹¼ãªã˜ã¿ã¯å¤§çµ±é ˜)
The patch should work, if not, make sure the file name is exactly "Patch.xp3" without quotes.

The stuff on the left, well, fuck it. Its shit like turn voice off and windowed mode and stupid shit you shouldn't care about.
Also has like image skip and shit as well, but you don't care.
That's it for the current patch.

I guess you've probably solved this, but in case not (and for the benefit of future people), one possible cause is the 'AppLocale Factor'. I got this when trying to run it without it or any changes.
For others who want to use AppLocale but have Vista/7, there's a guide to get around that it doesn't work on those, if you click here.
