If you look at the various scripts, the common route moved so quickly due to most if not all of them being small scripts. If you look at the various scripts for each specific route most of them are walls of text. That's most likely one reason as to why progress is slowing down considerably. So don't go expecting this to come out anytime soon. Unless they get a massive amount of fluent Japanese translators with a whole lot of time on their hands.
Granted who knows maybe I could be wrong, but it's better to expect less.

Well at least, they're still going on the project and let's hope they will keep the good job.. I'll be very disappointed if the translation is being dropped off before it's finished

it seems slow but thats because they are translating two route at the same time. it seems that they might be japanesethat are fluent in english too.

All I was trying to point out is that I wouldn't expect it by the end of the year or January 2010 since like I said looking at most of the route scripts, they are just walls upon walls of text unlike the common route scripts.

Common translations are easy. The hard part was to get the same feeling as players read through the Japanese text o_O. Take all the time to get them right! :D
