Playstation 2 Recommendations

The Suikoden series. Although I gotta admit Suikoden 4 is not that great(but RoP is cool, damn it)...but don't let that be you judgment for the whole series.

Really recommended if you're seeking for epic storyline...

The Zone of the Enders series, gets you addicted and is nothing but awesome gameplay full of blurring through the air while kicking ass. One of my PS2 favourites.

Try Persona 3 FES & 4, Star Ocean Till the End of Time(if you don't like turn based try this but beware this one is 2 disc), Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy(if you see how to obtain skill in this game you'll lol).,

Don't forget the Metal Saga too! an Tank rpg and Front Mission 3 or 4th I forgot which number it was.

Huh, I'm glad someone mentioned Atelier Iris. I was thinking about it, but I thought no one would even know what I was talking about. I'm surprised you didn't mention the first Atelier Iris game though, most people seem to think it is the best of the series.

I didn't want to give him more then he could chew so I didn't go all out. I recommended games that would be easy finds anywhere. I don't think he'll find Atelier Iris though. If he does I bet it'll be all scratched up with on cover of box. I like the box the game comes with so when I buy used game I try hard to get one that comes with the box, cover, and booklet.

Better make some room cause you my friend have a full plate on your hands with a dozen second servings.

Get on it, these are some great games for the PS2. Do NOT miss them. :)

If you like gothic atmosphere try :Shin Megami Tensei:NOCTURNE,Digital Devil SAGA 1,2.

If you prefer not standart battle system try: Grandia 3,Valkyrie Profile-Silmeria,Shin Megami Tensei:Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army and vs King Abaddon,Breath Of Fire:Dragon Quarter.

Some ActionRPG games too: Shining Force EXA, Onimusha 4,Monster Hunter.

Racing Games: Gran Turismo *dont remember which one but they are all very very good*

Fighting Games :Dragonball Z SPARKING! Meteor,Melty Blood,Guilty Gear X Accent Core+,Soul Calibur 2.

The Ratchet & Clank series is incredibly fun, and all the games are Hits, so they're all cheap.

But a note - the first three R&C games are the best. Ratchet: Deadlocked is nothing like the other games, and you might want to stay away from it. I don't know about Size Matters, but it is a port from the PSP, so it's probably not as good as the other games. Regardless, the first three games alone will cost you less than a hundred dollars (a lot less, in fact), and each game will offer you many, many hours of fun.
