Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Supah excited. Yay~!

Was wondering though if Game Freak will include something unique with this game. HGSS has the Walker, LGFR had the wireless adapter for the GBAs, I'm wondering if they will do something with OR/AS that will be unique for the game over the apparent new Megas.

Don't really think these are entirely necessary...I mean, nifty and all, but hopefully these are the last of the remakes.

As long as the fans keep asking demanding remakes, they will be done. It's the only sane business decision.




White Treehollow / Black Tower were probably the best additions ever for levelling up your Pokémon. Lack of anything to do after finishing the game is the main reason I haven't touched X/Y in a long time while still trying to get more of the one type team medals in White 2, even if I don't have much time for that either these days.

Gen 3 was one of my favorite series of Pokemon games, crossing my fingers for a female Blaziken again.

So yeah, it was inevitable, but I'm fucking hyped.

Why do they always come out in pairs? I have x and y but when I asked the guy at the front desk if they're any different he said no?

Diffrence is that one version has pokemon that other version lacks. Also its a way to get more of your money.

Well they are though. Just not enough for you to buy both separate games.

Also it's pretty much a tradition by now. Having two versions encourages trading and battling. The multiplayer aspect has always been more important in the mainline games, since it's a ingenious marketing decision by GF and nintendo.

I may get it. Stopped after Diamond.
I loved Sapphire and so I may go for Alpha Sapphire.

Instead let's make it a Tri-Fusion of Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groudon.

I'm not really excited since I gave up on Pokémon with White version. I no longer have my DS Lite and I haven't bought any other console but these remakes do seem interesting. Hoenn is by far my favorite generation/region so assuming they manage to strike a balance between new and improved along with old and nostalgic, it should be great.

They showed a bit of footage today.

If by "a bit of footage" you mean Kyogre/Groudon doing Drizzle/Drought in 3D and no actual gameplay, then yeah.


And we know Sceptile and Swampert are getting Mega Evos, why would Blaziken get one and not them?

I can still play the originals on my Gameboy Sp... I don't think I'll buy this anytime soon

Ugh, Hoenn babbies. I liked 3rd Gen but it wasn't the best and got a lot wrong compared to the newer games.

Can't even avoid them on Fakku. They're almost as obnoxious as Genwunners.

Elaborate? There have obviously been a lot of improvements made in newer games, but you really need to explain more if you make statements like this.
