PS3 or PSP

i have a PS2, nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and a sega genesis, all i need is either a PSP or a PS3

the PS3 im interested in cause of the games it has, and i get to go online and chat with all my friends who have PS3


im interested in PSP cause of how cheap the japanese import games are and cause of birth by sleep kingdom hearts, and a few games it has including valkyria chronicles 2

Buy the one that has "the most games that you wanted to play".

If you want to play online and chat with friends more,I say go for the PS3.Too much hassle if your using a psp :-/
But if you like the portability of the psp as well as the games it offers,go for the psp instead.

In my opinion,a lot of psp games are lacking in replay value,only a few tittles can make you want to replay them.
PS3 is better (at least to me it is) because of the games that are released/soon to be released(I am looking forward to them) and because of the better online multiplayer gaming.

In the end,it all depends on yourself,ask yourself which one is more suited to your daily life and gaming style.
Here are two suggestions:
1)If you go out a lot,get the PSP.
2)If you prefer staying at home,get the PS3.

I'd say the PS3 is more worthwhile. But both have been out for a couple years now so they're relatively cheap(er). I vote get both.

First thing, what model of PSP? Fat, Slim, GO, or the new Vita? I agree with the other people, just get both for cheap.

If u understand japanese language PSP is the best option as many great Jrpg is released there however not localized here.

If u don't, PS3 as most of the rpg is brought here.

It depends on what you wanna play more, I guess.

Ebay or used, and no if you just buy a ps3 it going to be 249.99 new anyways. A psp is 79-109$ new.

I agree. Also with a PS3 you can change out the hard drive and its really easy. I have a slim 160gb but its now a 500gb so i download movies and save them there.

I think the PSP probably has more exclusives than the PS3 does. So go PSP first, and get a PS3 later?

Depending, Miself have both. The ps3 offers allot of great games (Uncharted,Catherine,God of War,Dark Souls, so on and so forth) and it also has a blue ray player that might come in handy. The psp offers great games to (Monster hunter, persona, metal gear, i can go forever)while being reletively cheap, heck, you could find one for less then 100 bucks now a days and it's great for gaming to go. Depending on you're money situation you are currently on, if I were you ill get both but if you want to save a couple of bucks then a psp would be worth it.

You realize that the ps3 can do that and some.. like ps2 disks/roms, ps3 roms. Only thing is no xbox or wii emu.
