... The bolding of the word implied that the emphasis of my post was placed on the fact that it was portable. You're telling me that MY comment that YOU quoted doesn't mean shit? Rather condescending.
Ha didn't read. Fake rage with CAPS. He weighing the benefits of either the ps3 or psp not portability nor function of weightlessness. Reread and you see my comment of doesn't mean shit was the fact of the other shit you can play on the psp.. the fact you can hack the psp or ps3 wasn't even the point of this thread.. i was just saying by your original post the fact the psp can play less games means the psp wasn't up to this 'homebrew' logic you was questioning.

... I dont really care about PS2 roms and whatnot when the price of having them is that I can't play it wherever. I also like to actually BUY games if they're on current consoles (like... PS3).
Your caring about some mean nothing in this thread.. you making it your personal thing.. your not the op. No one cares you don't care about ps2 games. The fact you buy still doesn't mean a thing.

If I do so recall, it was my comment and you responded thinking I was ignorant of a fact. I'm aware of all of this. Vita, to my knowledge, is not fully hacked yet, therefor not having anywhere near the range of stuff the PSP already has after what, like 6-7 years of being on the market? PS3, on the other hand, also has nowhere near the amount of homebrew software PSP has, though it does have a significant amount.
Psp isn't full hack either. The fact you can play damn near anything homebrew currently on the vita. You can't play dl vita games.. i can play psp games, homebrew games, and Game Boy, Nintendo 64, Sega Megadrive, NES, Super NES games on the vita. Ps3 doesn't have more brew stuff but hey.. nothing does.

Sadly, some people would rather play their games while in another room that their game systems aren't in. Or, you know, while' they're not at home. I know. It's astounding.
Shit, you don't even have to hack the PSP to play games on it anymore in most cases.
So tl;dr
PS3 can do everything PSP can, except it can also play PS2 games.
PSP can do everything PS3 can, except play PS2 games. Yet, it can go anywhere in the world with you, and fit in your pocket.
lol, Ill totally pick the PS3.
Not even the point.. your creating more stuff. The thread isn't even for this purpose.
Yes you still have to hack the psp to play non umd or official psn dl games. There might be one or two examples of ofw compatible hacked games.
Portability doesn't mean quality. See 3ds for that.
Yes i would too. Thank for the time spend on utter misconception of minor issues of gaming and cash flow. The whole point of the op question is which of his limited fund would be worth his money on. I sure if he had a portability issue like he wants something for the bus ride to work or school he would ask for a idea of psp vs ps3. Stick with the issues at hand. I told him he can get both for a couple buck extra. You should read some more.
I think we derail this thread fully. I'll just leave it to the others to make the sony train run straight and narrow.
