almost done dling the game now was wondering dose it work like Rance 6 were your crew has SP and goes down after each monster fight?

Yes it works like 6, except instead of blind SP, you lose action points for abilities. And at level up you get a bucket of points you can use to either upgrade a skill or purchase a new one.
Now I be stuck on 085 and 033 both have a purple text, 085 part C and 033 the second line be purple. Anyone at that point or got past it yet? The only other quest i have open is 114 but that's insta death.

Dunno about 85, but 33 can only be done with rance alone in the sortie.

Yes you only need Rance for that Quest. In That Quest you'll meet Aegis Kalar tied a by a bunch of men. after raping her Rance found out that her crystal will be harvested. After saving her with Rance alone you'll get the choice of harvesting her crystal for yourself or not.
Choosing to let her go will open a next Kalar quest.
I haven't tried harvesting her, and can't really do a trial and error because of the autosave.

There's nothing stopping you from doing that quest again and harvesting her then looping around if needed (you need to let her go for the following Kalar quest).

Ty :) Given it's an autosave the only way to 'replay' is to backup your save data before a save occurs and deal with a single save slice. Some of the older alicesoft games had limited saves so you had to juggle the save file if you wanted to go back.
I dont suppose anyone has an idea of what the stats are?
If memory serves me correctly, Only thing I remember for sure from 6 on the left, first is attack, magic attack, then accuracy, dont know what the next two are. On the right, you have defence, magic defence, evasion, then similar dont remember.
Shame cant get teh hooks going, would be nice to read what i'm doing :D

Has anyone reached 072 yet? I'm completely baffled again, going around in circles and cant seem to find the secret entrance or a quest marker after I eliminated the only one I found. unless i was supposed to lose the battle :-/
That and for anyone far enough is there any way to undo the curse?

anyone game crashes on quest 083? when i go threw the purple door it crashes wondering if i should re download the game or not.

hippyboy32 sounds like a bug or something mucking with your inventory or something. I've done 083 like 50 times, cant say i've crashed on it yet. Maybe try to juggle your party if the same characters are crashing, or try changing items. If it still crashes with different party you might have a bad write location, maybe restart the computer before you reinstall.
I know i've crashed a few times with moving items around but generally it has been rather stable in other places.

So I guess the conquest of Helman would be the focal point of Rance 9.
Just a question though where is the donate button in the shop? Is it the one on the bottom right? The Kanji does say it's a Sell button though.

Thought id put my 2 cents in with how far i am at the moment and what somethings do.
ok so gonna do a update were im at if anyone is still playing lol Rance is going to japan for Kenshin so i think il get her next but man my party gets owned by the monsters there. Anyways for some of the icons if anyone is wondering what they do heres what i have seen them do
Red star with!: Boss fight unlimted time to take them out
Blue circle with rings: Heals your whole team to full but DOSE NOT reset attack or skill points on moves.
Blue circles: Gives a xp bonus from fights 3%more and stacks.
Green star with!: Events for the area tends to lead boss fights or unlocks other green stars in the area.
Green stars: Can be 2 things either a special mob fight that gives a ton of xp and or chat among party members
Red chest: Chest with traps in them more range you have less chance it blows up on you. After opening 1 the precentage drops after opening another red chest IE,100% opening it w/tripping trap goes down to 80%.
Green chest: Free loot(sometimes item is blacked out with ? can be identified for 100g then doubles after that only for that dungeon next dungeon it goes back to 100g)
Red spike balls: Like Rance 6 are challenges for you to do different mob make ups limited time to kill mobs and either rewarded with a item or 1 +1 to lvl at the end of the dungeon.
Yellow ball with spikes:Looks like item lvls you find from the dungeon are raised by a random lvl had a armor peace go from a 1 to a 3.

Well a few notes for people 121-126 is a great dungeon for leveling. In the levels in the green chests are the mecha components A B C, which unlock some scenes in 117-119. 117's parts seem to come from 121/122, 118's from 124 and 126 and 119 from 125/126. This might be random but excessive searching seemed to suggest that.
077 is the last quest in the game and is an epic 25+ floor dungeon with a 3 stage boss fight.
To capture 'gal girls' you have to either stun them, and or get them low HP and use a lasoo (rope). You need to equip this ability after putting the item on them. There are 2 ropes i have found so far. A basic rope you can buy from the item shop which has 2 uses, and there is a super rope which gives 8 uses.
In 072 (which bugged me to hell) You cant proceed through the door unless you have an all female party after beating the red event boss.
In 135 you need to use a party
In 051 you have an 11 round fight. So be prepared.
With that added, now for maybe someone to help me. Have any of you found where to recruit the chracters for the 101? Similarly The characters for 104.
