You probably got a corrupted rar, try extracting it with 7zip and you may be able to install the game yet, or just redownload.

You might need to update you DirectX too, depending on what version you have atm.

If you get the same error, try what KLoWn posted.
Or maybe it's the unicode stuff, where you can use applocale or change your regional setting.

Ok so I downloaded the game and it runs fine except just for one thing, the controls are not working f1, f2,8, 4, 6 and 2 work but the actions keys a, s, c, v rotate the camera. So any idea why this is happening, does the keyboard has to be in a specific region etc.?
edit: NVM after clicking and pressing every single key finally got something ti happen lol

I am forced to download twice.
The god damned Norton Anti Virus deleted this game as soon as I extracted, this has happened several times already in the past.
It has too many false virus alarm.

The solution for that is to go to the exceptions list on your AV, select the folder where you save your downloads an put that folder there. Problem solved.

You use NAV but can't utilized it fully. Use the restore option to return the file that got flagged by the norton program. With this you won't have to download it over and over again.

Nah, NAV deleted the installer file (which is 1GB+) without confirmation and no undo option. The only solution is to mark my C:\Downloads as scan exception.
