dont waste my time with some mediocre shit that YOU thought was good. Im looking for that epic anime style shit that takes itself to seriously. Prefrebly something turn based. im new to turn based JRPG's ive only played FF13 & currently playing 7 non turn based are all the 3d console zeldas.

Von, definitely have a try at Disgaea (1 and 2) and Persona (3 and 4). Those are truly amazing games.

It has been discussed many times in several topics. You won't change your mind when confronted with the facts, so it's no use. It's also a matter of preference, so all the more reason why it's unnecessary.

Let's take FF7, which we can assume to be a defining piece of the FF line.
-Fact: Cannot skip cutscenes
-Fact: Final boss can be beaten in ONE HIT.
-Fact: everyone can equip the same armor and materia, meaning the only difference between characters is their weapons (Which ultimately have very little mechanical differences between characters) and their limit breaks.
I agree that FFX isn't a great game, but I don't think mechanics are the reason.
