Just beat Jake's campaign, it was really good. I'd say Leon's was the best, then Jake then Chris. Now that I've completed all of them I can
do Ada's campaign. I'll get round to that soon at some point.
so what are your opinions on the game? story-wise? gameplay-wise?
I'm still reluctant to dish out money because I'm saving up for the Christmas games release for the vita
Looking at it as just a game it's pretty decent, but comparing it to the rest of the series it's definitely not the best one. The story is alright and is made better by the fact that it's split into different parts, all of which come together nicely so the story all makes sense once you've played them all.
Obviously the biggest criticism of this game is lack of horror which is what I dislike about RE6. The only elements of RE horror really are in Leon's campaign, and it's not even ubiquitous, but even when it's there it isn't scary. I was only mildly scared at the beginning and that part was great, but it kind of drifts into a shooter, especially in the other campaigns.
I found the gameplay decent, especially in Jake's campaign, there was a lot of pretty cool things in there. Shooting all the different zombies and creatures was satisfying. But the whole saving and using your ammo wisely thing is pretty much gone. And the camera angles in Chris's campaign are a joke.
In my opinion the one thing that kept this game playable is co-op. It would be boring playing it on my own, same with RE5. That obviously wasn't the case with RE4.
Overall I'd give it a 7/10, it's worth playing. But I'd wait until the game goes down in price first.
Sorry for such a shit review, I'm not good at reviewing.
