You can either mount the .iso file virtually or burn it to a CD. These instructions are for mounting it. For mounting I recommend using DAEMON Tools, and these instructions assume that you are using it (but it should be very similar with other programs). Once DAEMON Tools is installed and running (you may need to restart after the first install), left click the icon in the taskbar and bring up this menu: Click on the empty device and select the Rance 7 ~ Sengoku.iso file from above. The .iso file should be mounted, navigate to the virtual drive and load als_inst.exe Step 4 (Patch) Spoiler:Run the patch and make sure it is pointing at the correct install directory. When it's done patching you will find the game in you start menu in the folder Sengoku Rance English. You can now play the game! If you have problems you should first look at this tutorial and FAQ topic.

hello mr.jacob. I've successfully downloaded this game. and i've mounted the .iso file. the trouble comes when i run the installation app. it says something goes wrong with the file .alm in the movie folder. (actually i don't understand the language, since it just shows "???????"). just my guess. here is the screenshot of the error part. what should i do to fix the problem ?? thx a lot, mr.jacob. btw, I'm using win 7. One thing I love about sengoku rance is that, in the opening always changes according to the time of the year =D

Fall/winter, the girl was wearing autumn school uniform, then spring, the girl was wearing a spring uniform. And finally the summer.. she wore a school swimsuit!

Not very much games do this.

I can't believe I finally see Alice chan in swimsuit while I'm not finish with this game yet,It's almost 1 year now.-_-

Things I want to do with this game before uninstall.

-See Takeda conquer Uesugi and Imagawa.
-See Shimazu conquer southern area of Japan
-Clear free mode with every family.

Don't be lazy, download it in parts then. Here or custom installer here. The custom installer is a lot more parts to download though...

Has anyone tried playing free for all starting with Miko Institute?

I can't even get past turn 3-4 before completely getting wiped out...

kk So i been playing this over and over and over again cause i fell like i was always takeing and loseing territory to demon army!!!!! so i gave up at turn 79 ish on 3th game cause i couldt take over anymore territory. around turn 80 lol an event happen and you corner the demon army somehow! MAKE SURE YOU TRAIN ogawa <--- or he will die so train him to lvl 45 ish if possable. Also I took over omost all the east <it> stay alive till round 80ish and train the hell out of your guys "side tip recuit zeth guys got a cool mage she kills <---- and she a nympho"

Well it's real easy to trian ogawa as you just make him fight that gay demon - that automatically raises his level - do it a couple of times and he gets to lvl 100 easily - so don't waste affection items, lvl uppers, etc. on him - it's a waste. And you should ideally have all the women from Zeth and the other place - I'm pretty sure they all have h scenes...

Hey guys, 2 problems:

-When I try to add an SCSI Virtual Drive on DAEMON Tools, it tells me "DAEMON Tools Pro driver error: -1", so I can't mount it. I figured this wouldn't be a problem since it says mounting is optional in the first post, but I figured I might as well ask.

-When I try to install, it tells me "The Sengoku Rance DVD cannot be found. Please insert the correct disc into your DVD drive, then click Next to continue." I start up the installation, accept the agreement, and choose Quick Installation, but as soon as I click Next from there, it gives me that message.

Just got the game up and running, and it's interesting that's for sure! Not very far yet, and I have a feeling I'm terrible because I have no idea what I'm doing! Ah well, I'll random through the game for a bit, might grab a walkthrough at some point. Thanks so much for the upload!

The names and the two menu buttons under New Game and Continue are still in Japanese. But most of the other things are in English. Why is this and how do I fix it?

I'd say just overwrite it. I'm assuming you're talking about a patch file if that's the case then it should work fine overwriting since patches are the same files but with extra shit(the actual patch) added in.

U made me play Miko Institute. It wasn't that bad xD You have few decently strong army units, just avoid anyone obscene like Takeda's main generals.

If you want even harder time, play Imagawa family lol, Hannies hannies and hannies!

However it progressively get easier as you play Imagawa family cuz you'll be capturing enemy generals and putting them to use haha. But, Imagawa is definitely harder than Miko Inistiute. Cuz Hannys can't even do alot of functions that human units can.

So it seems that the FAQ is down or something so I cannot figure out how to change my regional settings to fix that problem while installing. Anyone wanna help me?
