it was meant to push you into a corner~the epitome of tension. Though I'll say when I watched someone on YT play it (45:00 minutes....I watched every second of it -_-) Is basically the room slowly turning a bit gritty..and shadows popping out. Building paranoia and playing with your mind with each turn down the staircase. They made it to twist your nerves as far as they could though I gotta say the ending was a super let down.
I thought SCP-87-B was the one with a few stairs and more monsters? I was scared a lil at first when I saw a british guy do a playthrough of the one Im talking about. Eventually, he got over the scares which turned "typical" (like literally you knew what was going to happen and then it did happen)and I ended up laughing my ass of at the end because he made just made fun of it.
About slender is a jump scare. It seems un-finished to me but someone said they changed the ending. I saw it a few weeks ago seems so meh to me but at least it didnt leave you feeling like you got a "Bad End" -__- The basic thing that makes slender scary is the music. If there wasnt any surprise music when he was near by you'd just be like get the fuck away from me slendy. (-.-)~ ](o-o)

that's not true, she is a skinny girl who can't run for a meter, people like that normally die first, I don't even know why we have a game trying to save someone that doesn't want to run from someone trying to catch her and do stuff to her, all of which aren't very pleasant to her

Was not truly scary. Just got me pretty worked up when the Slenderman appeared the first couple of times. That and when I died. Music is great, though.
Other than that, not bad for an indie game.
