Don't see how you could work on much when you're getting beat down on. Practice in practice mode then computers then people. That's what I think would be better.

believe it or not, practice mode's gonna take you farther than playing random online matches ever will.
practice your execution, setup the dummy to do stuff you tend to lose against so you know how to beat it, etc.

Nah, I try to stay away from random ultras. I try to work them into combos.Blah, not to important ATM, I'm just trying to work on my links and combos. I'm not going for wins, although it would be nice if I could ;_____;
It isn't random when I can't pull an ultra to save my life.

All the pros use Practice mode. Even me! Although I'm not pro. XD
Practice combos, execution, everything. Practice until you can hit 4/5 times with certain B&B combos.

Kinda sucks that you're overseas though, matches lagged a lot. Not so much of frameskip, but the input delay killed me. Too hard to link with characters that aren't Cody :(
