About the error that you came across, unfortunately I don't know how to solve it but what I pointed above should do it because it won't make use of the temporary files folder. Good luck.
Hmm, that suggestion won't work since the moment I run the .exe the error pops up, allowing no other dialogue boxes or the like to come up. Thanks for the help though, as I'll try to keep fiddling with the files.
I uploaded the translation files here. Copy them to the game folder.
By the way, have you tried redownloading the patch?

uhh, is the torrent already gone? mediafire said that the torrent is already gone. interested in this game, however, my unstable wifi connection cannot finish downloading files without being interrupted, hence I can only download stuff via torrent.

EDIT: i am done installing this and have some issues. Whenever I play the game, there is nothing written on the dialogue box. I can hear the voice of the characters but nothing is shown on the dialogue box. any help?

This is super late, sorry about that; I'm sure you've figured it out by now. Either way, I'll post this here so others may see it.
Assuming you have a mouse with a scroll on it, all you have to do is scroll up and it should show the previous text. If not, look at the menu to see if there are any options to show previously read text.
I hope this helps! This is an amazing visual novel; probably my second favorite, right below Ever 17. :)

I can get to the set up page for a Swan Song English version 1.0 Yandere Translation. But nothing happens. It first asked me to insert CD1 and I cancelled. I'm not sure what to do next. I install and it tells me it has completed installing Swan Song v.1 on my computer, but I can't find the game. There is no launch icon.
