You won't be disappointed!
I have basically finished it and I have to say that it was extremely well done. This visual novel is so well done that it can allow the reader to sense the atmosphere of the story and the mood of almost everything in it. While reading this my emotions changed from being somewhat angry to laughing out loud. The "dramatic" scenes you could say, and the action scenes made my heart race from time to time. Throughout the story I was melancholic because of all the crude/depressing material and after finishing it you are left with that feeling (or perhaps it's just me). Rape, murder, death, insanity, and sex (mostly murder, insanity, and rape) are abundant in game. Although this visual novel is fantastic, what I didn't like about it was the rape scenes. Rape isn't a fetish for me so when I see
poor Hibari-chan getting raped, it's sad. And she gets raped whether you like it or not. Also, if you choose certain bad endings, Aroe gets raped at one bad ending, and Yuka at two.
Takuma is a very interesting character. Most of the storie's melancholic feeling came from his reasoning about his problems, other people's problems, and life. The logic he uses is usually negative and conceited but interesting.
It was somewhat surprising when Takuma becomes the main villain (AKA the evil mastermind) of the story. The once quiet, shy, melancholic, nerdy Takuma changes into an insane, cruel, lustful, bloodthirsty leader. I guess that is what is to be expected when a character of his sort. After all, people with low morale and confidence spoil quickly.
I suggest reading/playing this when in a good mood and taking a good break after reading a lot because the feelings and content the portrays really brings you down. I've read read/played all day long and at the end of the day a lot of stress and anxiety was built up inside of me that I could have had an panic attack. Haha.
Not everything is all gloom and doom though. There are many "happy" scenes too. If I could change one thing about this visual novel I would probably take out some of or all of the rape scenes or at the very least add more non rape "health material". Example:
More Tsukasa x Yuka and more Takuma x Hibari.
Many things were learned while reading which was enjoyable as well as the music and artwork. As you can see, I'm not very good at reviews since I rarely do them. This was the first visual novel I have read/played.
