No one wants to sit through a VN translation without the proper motivation.
The usual motivation is "preference", which is very limited to the translator. Basically the audience is equivalent to "Beggars cannot be choosers".
The other motivation is from the professional point of view, "Money". with the right amount of money and a clear contract the audience can be the one in power and employ the translator.

Well, to them the motivating factor would be "Making Money". They should be paying the ones who suggest good titles to them that bring them more profit IMO.

The fan translating "industry" doesn't work that way. Translators are not "dumb", they have their own preferences and knows which one that are really "good" since they basically can read Japanese and can judge without the help of any person. Fan translators doesn't care about your opinions.
The latest example was Adarac, he translated Daibanchou, but refused to translate Daiteikoku, just because he doesn't like it.
Stop thinking that Fan Translation are simple

Anyone else having problems playing this? I keep getting an error on startup that terminates the program... doesn't even say whats wrong either... just 'Error Incoming, Error has caused game to terminate'... its frustrating >_
