To be totally honest its not as complicated as you think.

Japanese is only complex in the number of words they have. Its sentence structures and pronunciation are rather simple. It just takes a while to translate because most people aren't native speakers or don't have a large vocabulary. Or because the technical part of translating a VN isn't always a walk in the park.

No offense, but if you look at Chinese translation teams, you will realize that this is not the case. The entire game was translated within a few months of release. It's just that Visual Novels haven't caught on in Western places and no one's willing to translate them.

well, another thing is why Chinese version are faster is, Japanese and Chinese "basically" has almost the same Kanji system and characters. so it's easier than Translating to a new language that doesn't have a kanji system. :D

Please at least take a look at the teaser of tomoyo after in fakku. I'm sure you will like it. This game has both good art quality and story. Tears jerking ending is not a problem i think to enjoy such a good novel.

For those of you waiting for the translation that was mentioned in this thread that was suppose to come in mid September; did you really think it was gonna happen? I mean he pays some college students a few thousand dollars just to translate a simple VN? This VN is great but come on. If he has really done it then I am wrong but he sure hasn't proven that or even ever gave any information to prove that the translation was on-going. I mean no screen shots, no real updates, no information at all really.

You guys that want to play this game had best give up on that guy and just hope that the open source translation gets more translators or mangagamers picks it up and decides to translate it.

I can't answer your question without spoiling the game, but I personally cannot say that is the best ending. They cut a lot from the VN. You really ought to play this.

TLwiki my friend, its stalled at the moment but it gets active every once in a while. RadicalR, the same guy that was the head of the Kanon TLproject, is the head of the Tomoyo After project down at TLwiki. Like most projects though it's lacking active translators.

...so how do I install it?
...and also how to use that seen file.

I forgot if the torrent for this game was in iso format, but if it is, mount the iso using Daemon tools or any other virtual drive creator.
Install using the mounted iso.
Open up the folder you installed the game into.
Replace the Seen file that should be located in the root folder of said game.
Start up the game using the .exe file.

The SEEN file in this thread is only a partial kind of half assed translation so don't expect much.
