Video Game made into Movie

The God of War movie would be neat, but Hollywood just ruins movies like that so no real point to making one.

Somehow, in my opinion .. Video Games and Movie isn't going well each other ..
Game --> Movie (mostly horrible)
Movie --> Game (mostly horrible as well)
But for answering what game i hope to be in cinema.
Maybe, Assassin Creed .... have good potential. But since they screwed up Silent Hill, i lost any trust upon them

Assassin's Creed may be a contender, since the short movie Lineage turned out pretty well.
