Visual Novels Recommendations and General Discussion

I fully simpatize with you, I wish that I didn't knew what you are experiencing. I missed more than a few deadlines with assignments in the past thanks to VNs and other games like that. Especially with those games with an addictive story or they are very hard and you have to focus your everything on it to beat it. Thankfully my teachers were the nice kind of teacher and didn't chewed me all that badly.
After the third play of Ever 17 you learn to tell which part of the story is worth skipping or not, strategic saving also helps a lot with that, saving before those really intense moments saves yous a lot of clicking or holding the skip button. The best of the Ever 17 save system is that you can put those 'stickers' on the saves to ID each scenario, making easier to file and sort the saves.

Despite having a Hard disk and too much VN crisis, I want to share my next VN that I'm targeting:

Both look pretty yummy for me, I am so jealous of Japanese and people who can read japanese. Both games look like being quite good, RPG and something lighthearted, it is a good mix for leisure play.

Might be a little out of topic, but anyone here played Wanko to Kurasou? I got the game, got the new 0.70 patch for it and played it again. It is supposed to end with that not to nice (and usual) good ending with the owner of the pet store? (in her ending, not all)
I liked the game a lot, but there was this point of the story that felt kind of hard to swallow with the main char spouting this conversation about love and stuff.
Now that I think that I cleared that ending I am a bit confused if I got the (true) good ending or got a 'bad' ending since there aren't any walks or other help to see if I got the ending or not, or if there is a second ending with the pet shop owner. Anyone knows the answer?

Actually you can by using a program (Forgot the name).

But in My case, I just burn the image file to a DVD and play it in my PS2 machine.

I think you can't. I've never tried it before, but If you think it logically, you can't use AGTH and ATLAS.


No, they're all official games for the PS2. action, adventure, love-sim game, they're totally worksafe (except for the mild-nudity part... :wink: )
