It's a little difficult to search for oldies, but i'll try.

Sharin no Kuni looks promising (but many Loli looking characters ^_^; ), and Seinarukana, is one from (now) five games, that I asked my friend in Germany to download, and it's done :D . Now I just have to wait for his return in August, since he don't want the hassle to send it Via mail :)

I Went to my friends house a week ago to get a copy of some of his H-Game collection. After I got 5 games, I asked to him, "Can I see your H-Game list?"

After I saw it, I go :shock: !
All of your(FAKKU people) recommendations are on his list, that consist of more than 200 H-Games.

Than he said, "My collection is a small." after that he showed me his friend's list. I go more :shock: :shock: !
It consist more than 500 H-Games!

Me < Him < His friend

But this made my search for H-Games more easier :lol:

This might be a tough question to ask of you, but which games (Hentai or non-hentai) are you favorites, or at least in your opinion to be the most enjoyable? For now, I'd say my fav would be Snow Sakura, I just loved the Characters' moments, and a not too shabby plot. But if I only posted that question, it wouldn't fit with the 'recommendation' part of this thread, now would it? Taimanin Asagi, by Black Lilith. Uhh... Wouldn't really know if this game is up your alley but hey, check it out. :)

Alright, a friend of mine told me about Princess Waltz and Double Teacher Life being good, but I haven't played either yet so I have no idea how they are. It did get me curious though. I have no idea if they're translated too, I kinda just play the translated ones, since I have a very poor (Self-taught{through anime watching :!: }) Japanese comprehension/vocab. I also don't have the language pack for Japanese installed on my computer. :oops:

And I thought that I had a considerably big H-game collecting with around 50 games.

BTW Kaimax which games of your list are in English? And do you have torrents for them? I am always looking for new games to add to my collection, but living where I live I don't have any way to buy the official games.

I've already tagged the English ones in my list post.

I have the same condition as you do, there is no place to buy them. I usually just hunt wild torrents in isohunt.com, and wait for new stuff at tokyotosho.com.

And try to find close friends that also collects these game, you'll be surprised with their wide networking. You can barter and copy new games from them.

Thank you for the reply Kaimax, unfortunately in my little corner of the world the true anime fan society is small and scattered, I lost touch with the friends that I had back in the days that we had 'meetings'.

And not all of them were interested in H-games, a good chunk of them were more interested in the newest anime and related merchandise, that can be pretty expensive here, I don't have the finantial backing to support all the stuff that I saw them getting.

I forgot to ask, but any of the Japanese games from your list had translations released by groups like MirrorMoon did for Utawarerumono, Fate Stay/Night and Tsukihime? If they did can you tell which game and were you got the translations?

@Sinner : Nope, I don't have any translated games, except the ones you just mentioned, but there was a Clannad translations project, don't know if their still doing it. Any games except translated by mirrormoon, or licensed by G-Gollection is Japanese.

@LeVoidDragon: Never played it before, old games tends to be forgotten and hard to search for it once it becomes an antique. You should try some new games for a change. Well, thanks for reminding me to download True Love. :D

@All:Language is no barrier, you have to be brave to walk the unknown path. You'll get used to it sooner or later. In my case I use Atlas + AGTH if I can't understand the language. Because new H-games are better in terms of Artwork Quality,(sometimes) plots and more interactive play (some of them)

I bet some of you are bored, just clicking through the game.

Once again thank you for the reply. While I would like to play my games in the original Japanese version I can't read Japanese, I can understand and make few words and sentences that I hear, and I can speak just enough to say few basic things as asking for food or telling people that I don't speak Japanese. So playing games in Japanese will only happen in the future (hopefully not a distant one), since I like playing games for the story on them, if I can't make the story, then I won't play, even if is just for the hentai.

Those Atlas and AGTH that you mentioned are programs?

P.S. I believe that I have True Love burned somewhere in the middle of my other games, so if you need I can look for it and make it a torrent.

@Sinner: Yes, Atlas is a translation programs, which can translate written text. and AGTH is a program that will "extract" game script(Dialogues, names).

So, it works like this. A Japanese game (You must play it in window mode), AGTH extract the script file, Atlas translates the written script.

It's a bit full, because you must run 3 different programs in 3 different windows. and Atlas's translations is a;ways rough, you have to "smoothen" it yourself.
If you can't find it, I'll just upload it for you.

I hope that you enjoy, this game is a classic, I have many fond memories of this game, one of my very firsts H-games. I also have a walkthrough somewhere, I can send it another time, but the game isn't all that

Played it for a while, and I think this game is great for it's Era, it cannot compete with new games, but it has become a lovable classic.

While is true that True Love can't compete on graphics and sometimes plot of the new generations games, I have yet to see a dating sim hentai or not, where you have that much interactivity to make the schedule of the main character and customize him to better approach one girl.

Another trait of True Love and a few of the older games like Nocturnal Illusion, I just love this one, is that you can change the given name of the main character, sometimes even the family name. Newer games don't have that little trait anymore, at least the games that I manage to get, which are most of the releases of Jast and Peach princess.

And there is another something with older games that most of the new sometimes lack, is just the for fun leisure play, I can still remember replaying Seasons of Sakura, True Love, Nocturnal Illusion, Three sisters, Maids' story and few more games countless times without getting tired of them.

With newer games there isn't that same leisure/kill time play on it, at least in some of them, especially the ones with a long and too complex plot or other plot devices, I loved Pretty Soldier War, but that battle system of them sucks big time, since you can't speed up things and you need to click after every enemy attack or the battle is stuck there, the lack of a counter system also makes playing the game something painful, not something that you can play just because you are bored and want relax.
