The last I found was Kotarou in heat, because I don't really like Nadeshiko. =.=

I don't mind discussing things I like as long as they're worth the time spent typing them. Not like I don't have a lot of free time, but writing about stuff that doesn't matter really doesn't speak to me at all. On the other hand, this is probably the only VN I'll be playing and talking about for a while. Not that I don't like them, but I have pretty particular tastes, so it's only when something that matches EXACTLY what I'm looking for comes along that it'll have such a huge impact on me.

On another note... Why would you ask for a 100% save when you can download the CG Pack for a couple dozen megabytes and save yourself the trouble of downloading and installing an entire game?

So you didn't do Nadeshiko's route at all? Kota in heat was one of the first things you get from it, if I'm not sure. She's really cute, so I chose to go her way from the beginning. I only began loving Mikan throughout the story, and Silvie after doing Risa's route.


Alright, sigh. I'm probably going to write a game review sometime soon. It's exciting because I haven't done anything like it since I watched DearS, over three-and-some years ago, but I want to finish all the endings and do all the routes before I can really discuss anything. The thing that really gets me pumped up about this game is how it's so... reasonable. You see, I never really thought of catgirls/doggirls as... cats/dogs with human features. Besides Inumimi the manga, it was really the first time I considered them to be humans with cat-like/dog-like features. And that certainly changes my perspective a little bit. I'll probably reiterate on this a little bit later, but I'm trying not to force myself into limbo so early in the morning.

There're two walkthroughs. The first one is the story-driven one, and the second is the CG-collection one. I haven't done everything the first one has to offer and seen whether or not it'll give you all CGs, but having both is a nice idea.

The ending for the Risa route in the first one is still in Japanese. Use http://babelfish.altavista.com to translate it. You won't get the exact answers, but you can pretty much figure out which is which from the translation. Also, I found out "Mikan" is tangerine through that. It was delightful (Orange box and all).

i havent enjoed an eroge like this one for soo long, thanks fakku for the advice :), am new on these things and i downloaded fate stay night too so still trying to get all cgs of the game by myself.

another things about the game and am still wondering...... they are still pets, so if your pet is on heat season you are ok by giving them that special help? isnt that ...... weird?

Well, the actual thing that hope to happen is like this.

I play game "A", you play game "B", we discuss about both games and recommend the game resulting, I play game "B", you play game "A" and so on.

Like I said before, it's weird for us who think that because, in our mentality, we see antropoid animals more as people than as pets. However, the game seems to give you a pretty good grasp of people's understanding of what they really are, and it looks to me that despite having human appearance, pets are still considered pets. There's so much to talk about here, so much that I can find to discuss this topic with, but time constraints bind me until tonight.

Of course that the heat situation is the premise under which you're able to have sex with the girls (Risa too, if you think about it...), but it's well explained that there's reasons for that. One, it's painful for the pets if they don't mate, and sterilizing antrophoid animals is much like doing it to humans, so it's not as simple as we might think. Two, it isn't healthy for animals to have children whenever they're in heat. It reduces their life span and produces a load of stress. Three, medicine doesn't always suppress it, so there's always the possibility of a dog going out of control.

In the game's world, I think it's quite normal for pets and humans to have sex with each-other. I mean, it's suggested in a brochure at a family petshop, so you can have a guess. On the other hand, I think that kind of bonding, to people or pets, is painful given their short lives. You can see that Kaie is in love with Seika right at the beginning, and yet he's not allowed to be with her because of both his pride, respect, and the knowledge that expressing his love for her would be painful for her in the end.

I had completed all possible endings to get the CGs already, just that Nadeshiko & Kotarou was last characters to complete.
I prefer Risa & Mikan..
This game's quite easy, completed in 1 day. (Except for black screen part)
I play Really? Really! & Kanon in japanese, take like 1 week still haven't complete =.=

Well worth playing, its a fun game to play for sure, i went with Nadeshiko personally.
Trust mee! its great story made me want to cry a bit when i watched it end. :cry:

Im glad that i found someone else who also loves this game as much as i do.
the part when Mikan got kidnaped made me quite depressed and even more so when it was showing and talking about what she was going through.
I would not even be able to imagine the pain i would feel if i had a pet anthropoid like mikan get kidnaped of even just die of old age.
Ima going to be going throught this game over and over again for a long time now and probably keep it for years to come.

It's been my pleasure. And join the band, as I'm keeping this game for years to come. I'll play it whenever I feel that my will to live is losing its strength, when I need to remember the lessons this game taught me. I'll keep these lovely characters in my mind and in my heart. It takes a level of desperation too high to mention to take me to a point where I'm begging to be able to cry and relieve the emotional maelstrom that was being held inside.


On a different note, this:

I think... I have to disagree with that statement greatly. I may not be able to compare it to other visual novels, but I think I have a horde of people who would agree with me in that the story is anything but one-dimensional and bland.

yeah, I'm having problems starting the game! I installed everything, and the game worked for a bit! however when I tried to open the game up again, and all I got was a black screen! I'm running on Windows Vista, if that has any correlation!
