What VN are you playing? What do you think about it?

Alright, took me a while but finally finished all 8 episodes of Umineko (with ps2 fix)... My first 07th Expansion VN and oh boy was it something special.
Surprisingly I feel satisfied even though some things weren't fully answered or explained but it really wasn't necessary I believe. Some parts felt like it was dragging a bit but not to the point it's boring. Soundtrack wise, I don't think I've listened to a better collection of OSTs; no joke, currently downloading the whole thing. No wonder it's called a sound novel first and foremost. Great story, awesome soundtrack, and I totally love Beatrice.

Oh, my, god. It's probably not the right place to say it, but for some reason it feels fitting to say it here, if only Key has released so many VNs that touched my heart in ways I'll never forget. First Clannad, then Rewrite.

Mixed feelings. But every VN has been like that so far...

The Angel Beats VN should be good news for you then. Promising since it will have the time for closure that the Angel Beats anime lacked in the final acts of the series.



Steins;Gate is notorious for it's shitstorm of bugs, erogedownload.com should fix a majority of those problems. Or you could wait until the English version gets released on March 31st for PC.

Finished Majikoi A-3, found that they have something all in common.


The best routes:
1. Lee - good character back-story. Enjoyed it very much.
2. Stacy - Shonen power-ups and some new character introduced. Pretty fun and simple story that fits to Stacy personality.
3. Tsubame - Not much to develop from story wise because it is an after story. Tsubame's mom is the hottest development in one of the routes, but that's about it.

Ruka is a girl that can make women lesbian and also wears a chastity belt.

School Days HQ. It's interesting, haven't gotten too far yet. The immaturity of the characters is kinda appealing somehow. There's lots of confusion, and conflicting (love)interests in the characters.

The game's in widescreen and is more or less fully animated and voiced. It's like an anime basically, with the addition of typical VN stuff like choices, branching story etc. I imagine this is what an ideal VN looks like given a high enough budget.

Some of the story got totally spoiled for me though, even VNDB arguably has spoilers in their description of the VN. The spoilers might have been what drew me towards this one in the first place however.

But yeah, it's hard to explain it too in depth without spoiling anything.

I'm not against traps... Actually, a bit sad that this isn't not an eroge e.e

Without spoilling much, how do routes work here? "plot" based(which action will you take), or "romance/heroine"(who you will date) based? Or are choices more like Fate instead of Grisaia?

Steins;gate has routes with invisible progress meters that fill up depending on choices made and routes that boil down to yes or no. So it's a little of both but don't expect F/SN level of complexity.

Its been a while since i logged in....and i am kinda lost but anyways i just beated koihime musou.Loved it every single second but now i feel bad for this many reasons
1-There a sequel but not in english T-T
2-Cant search because the anime keeps getting in the way
3-All characters hav endings in the ps2 version(now wish that i dindt sold my ps2)
But i strongly recomend it because of the PLOT (yes the plot).For me its not like eroges that its just sex happening all the time.(although you ARE labeled as a pervert,mega demon perv my fav way of being called by nowXD and DO bang everything in sight)but anyways it kinda got off road since the ending dindt had that much sense for me(mostly because i dindt wnated to see Chousen anymore and i dindt read the alternate storie thingie,the whole reason of the game....XD)
Anyways now im bored and trying to find something to do so....any suggestions for eroges,galges,games,VNs,anything?Im bored to death

It's writing is actually kinda... boring. And somewhat hyperboled (is that the right word?).

Exaggerated or blown out of proportions would possibly be better, watch Sakurasou no Pet Kanojo for a great example.
