self explained? why? whenever i am on youtube,google,etc i see people saying bullshit lies about the ps3 like saying our accounts get hacked,we copied xbox when we where here first, ps3 is this or that.sure i aint gonna lie i am a ps3 fanboy BUT not one of those fan who need to troll another console becauseof being bias.i saw a couple of articles that some dumbass wrote xbox has blue-tooth,a better community, has better graphics then ps3,less hackers then psn, that x360 plays high-def movies and even had the nerve to write that xbox has a less percentage of fucking up compared to ps3 when xbox no matter what model it is get the RROD or E47 error screens. this one time i argued with some guy about this and he how do i say.. talking out of his ass or like a magician pulling random things out of a hat. i knew what i was talking about from both point of views and that other guy had nothing to say. long story short.. Um... it's the console wars for a reason. They want to get the other side angry because they get off on that. Doesn't really take that much to figure out.

By the way, I'm the kind of person who'd go out and buy both, because I want to play the games that both offer. That's probably not really hard to understand.

Besides, don't let anyone bullshit you into buying whichever they claim is better. Buy the one that appeals you more. This whole console wars is just butthurt fanboys who can't has nothing better to do, though it is still fun to remind them that their oh-so-precious consoles are consistently outsold by the Wii.

A console is just what you make of it. If you enjoy the exclusives on Xbox 360 more, then by all means get that one. If you like the PS3 games, then get that. It's that simple.

However, I would suggest just sitting back and watching all the fanboys go at it. The only thing funnier is the PC vs Mac wars.

Don't let it get to you. It's typical gamer arguments (not that all gamers are that way). All modern systems receive hate from somewhere. I hate console wars and ignore them. Play each one and form your own opinion is what I say. Sure, I have a preference, but it doesn't matter, I still like them both.

I've owned both and prefer my 360 for petty personal reasons, mostly because all my friends were on it and I had people to talk/game to (most of them my airsoft team mates), and I figured most games on the PS3 were on the 360, except a few good ones like Uncharted 2 and Valkyria Chronicles.

It's the console wars for a reason. It's always existed, but its' more arguably more prevalent now than it has ever been because this is probably the most balanced generations we've ever had.

Yes, the Wii is winning by a sizable margin, but it isn't even on the same level as the 360 and Wii. The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 are virtually identical in almost every way. The only thing it comes down to is the library and brand loyalty, or to some extremes nothing but blatant fanboyism.

Some gamers want to defend their console as if it is their life at stake. Odd thing is even those who own both, or all three consoles, are often part of the fanboyism too and desperately try using that fact to hide the obvious. It is stupid, but the game companies love it. "There is no such thing as bad publicity" comes to mind. The more "warring" that causes discussion of video games in the market the better off game companies are going to be.

It really isn't anything new. This was also pretty bad during the Nintendo/Sega times during the eight and sixteen bit generations. Personally the only reason I think that never swelled out of proportion was the lack of the popularity of the Internet at that time.

People just can't get over the fact that there exists more than one console. There really isn't any difference in them. If you like the PS3, shut the fuck up and play it. If you prefer the 30, then fuck off about hating the PS3s. It's all about personal preference. Besides, real gamers don't limit themselves to just one console anyway.

Most of the hate videos are from the first year or two of the PS3's life, where it was genuinely bad - incredibly expensive and with a poor library of games. In my opinion, it has since superseded the 360, though that remains a decent console.

As far as any hate goes now it's just defending the purchase you made.

All three consoles have a good library of games as it is now, missing out on epic gamez just because it's not on your favourite system is just gay.
