They will have to step it up a bit since I heard from a few friends that Nintendo isn't making such a successful progress. I don't know if it's true or not though.
Your "friends" are morons with no clue I'm sorry to say.

My only advice to them is they have to start getting more creative and start working on their graphic programming
Wait... Did you just tell Nintendo to get more creative? The only company that actually constantly tries to innovate the way we play games?...

because the only games I am seeing on the shelves of the game store are for people under 12 that provide graphic inferior to the Xbox or PlayStation.
Names said games plz.
And Im not even gonna bother going into the graphics debate...

But then again I could be wrong
Im pretty sure you are, as everything you say is in fact wrong.
I'll trust in Nintendo and say they probably know what they are doing. They already spent 2 console gens doing really well selling hardware that's not really advanced against the 2 competitors that focus on that aspect. I'd say that if Nintendo did what Microsoft and Sony were doing it wouldn't be too interesting of a console war. I do in fact wish that they provide good online capabilities though because this is the one thing that they actually needed to implement for the past 2 gens. Graphics I couldn't really care too much as long as there's release of games that provide good aesthetics over graphics.
A game that I would love to try but never ever will be able to except through eBay of sorts is Earthbound/MOTHEaently retired from making games, and Nintendo won't dare try to make a sequel without Itoi.
I'm happy that he can relax, but man how amazing would it be to have a MOTHER 4 or the other series localized. Also the series sold like utter dog shit apparently which is a huge shame considering how amazing it is suppose to be.
Thing about Mother is that it wouldn't ever be released outside Japan even if it were made today, due to all the copyright blah the game is known for. I don't think Reggie is suppressing Mother just to be an asshole. There's a real marketing reason behind it.
There for, it's up for fans to take matters into their own hands. I hear fans actually are making a Mother 4, and it looks great! Google it!
I'm not too worried about Nintendo for the moment. The 3ds is selling relatively well, and with titles like Pikamn 3 the wii-u will generate a lot interest. They have enough money in the bank to stay in the business for a long time, and I don't see that changing.

I am worried about Sony though.
Spoiler:
Here's something neat I found today.
I agree, and I found it wise of Nintendo to skip out on announcing a price point and release date at E3 (though they've been doing that since the GameCube). Get the hype rolling, then announce the date and price in July, August or so, generate more and maintain current hype. The leak of Rayman Legends (nice post, saw that) has already gotten a ton of people ecstatic for E3, and with there being a chance for it being a launch title, the Wii U is looking more and more enticing to own.
In terms of Sony, well they produce more than just games so it is expected that they would lose more. Granted, the amount they lost is unsettling to say the least. Sony said that they won't be firing people from their games division, it is mostly from their TV and camera divisions. Though I do think that the PS4 is going to maybe take some of the loss, either through a much further delay than anticipated, or reducing the specs to make sure it is not as expensive. Another thing that has me wondering now that I mention the PS4 is, what about the Vita? It hasn't been doing particularly well, and if sales continue to decline, along with the possibility of Microsoft joining in to get some easy profit boosts, I wonder if Sony will just give up on the handheld market. Who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.
Well In my opinion, I clearly doubt that the Wii U won't be popular after It's release In Japan & in N.America. I mean the Nintendo Wii has been a huge success like 5 years ago after it's release & It became the #1 video game console of all time & the sold over 50 or 100 million systems in the past 5 years. So I don't know, maybe we will find out & see if the Wii U will be popular or not.
Further information from Nintendo's investors meeting has Iwata saying that the launch won't be absolutely amazing, which probably means that we shouldn't expect a ton of first party titles be released at launch. NSMBU will most likely be a launch title, obviously a Wii Sports-version will be packed in, and Pikmin 3. Those, with the third party titles I think will hopefully be enough. Retro's game will probably be held off until next year, along with a 3D Mario for the year after.
Also, reading GAF and all, I don't think the internet will be able to handle the traffic that will ensue with Nintendo's E3. GAF will surely implode from hype alone just hours before the conference. Expect new pages every second I can assure you that.
