Zero Escape: for the Vita and 3ds.

A new game in the same world as 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors is coming to the Vita. 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, also known simply as 999 (no relation to Herman Cain), was a game in the same vein as torture porn classics like Saw and Cube (OK, Cube doesn't really fit the torture porn label per se) in which you and other characters had to solve puzzles to avoid getting killed horribly. Developer Aksys Games' weird press release doesn't explicitly say that Zero Escape is a sequel to 999, but it does say that they're in the same series. It also describes the game as a virus that has escaped quarantine, which is creative but there seems to be something lost in translation. Zero Escape will be a retail game, but will also be available as a download on the SEN. It will also feature updated 3D graphics (versus the 2D from 999), familiar faces from 999, and multiple endings. It will also be available on the 3DS. Anybody familiar with this game or 999? I didn't like it when I first heard about it, but it's as much an integral part of the story as the unskippable puzzles were for 999.

I'm like two games behind. I haven't even started yet. I lack time... other news gamestop sent me a email with an ad for this games trade in value. 30$... i guess the game is limited in supply or something.

You guys do know that the Vita does have touchscreen? Sold the DS to get it and never regretted.

They teased something on Aksys's site
The picture has one of the watch redesigns and in the depth of field there is Dio's outfit and hat..

Shit is going down pretty soon.

In terms of the story pacing and character development, the first one did a better job.

In terms of "fun factor", VLR is better.

For the plot both are equally great.
