To answer your question Neo, you can decide whether you are a man or woman. I don't wanna displease anybody with my opinion of the protagonist's sex so I keep it anonymous and leave it for you guys to decide. But if you want my opinion, I would prefer it if the protagonist were a man. Once again though, it is all up to each individual user whether the protagonist is a man or woman.
Anyway, on to the story!
The man turns around and you raise your hands high as he points the gun at your face. He looks at you intently and concetrates his gaze at your gash. You look at it as well and notice that the moss has stopped the bleeding. The pain is still present, but the gash is no longer bleeding. "Are you from the ship?" he asks. You look around real quick and notice where the initial strange noise came from. You see a set of wheels from what might be an ATV poking out from behind the rock. You then realize the odd noise you heard must have been the engine before it stopped running. As you look back at the man, he screams "ASWER ME!!!" angrily. From here you:
A.Say Nothing
B.Ask "Who are you?"
C.Say you are from the ship
D.Lie and make up a story
E.Other

What the fuckity fuck fuck. Okay, option D. You're weak, a struggle for the gun might not work out. Meanwhile, you can just yank the knife out and sink the knife into his heart or neck or someting.

E. Do not duck, combine the force of shifting your arm into the gun from the side and moving your head in the opposite direction. Thereby using his moment of confusion to grab his knife and stab him upwards into his groin. You aren't strong enough to wrestle the gun, but the adrenaline rush will make you move fast and push the gun enough to cause a misfire and follow-through. Or at least, it looks pretty in my head.

Your life flashes before your eyes. You then begin to remember that the ship exploded due to being hit by some outside force before instantly snapping back to reality. You push up and he shoots towards the skies before you knock the gun out of his hands. You then Spear him right in his gut and you go down with him. He pushes you off but not before you pull the knife out of the scabbard on his leg. You are about three feet away from the man. He looks at you then looks at the gun which is about five feet away and he makes a run for the weapon. Do you:
