A Tale of Survival (CYOA) Ep. 1

You quietly hurry your way out of the barracks and back to the outside. A search light passes by but you thankfully avoid it. You see the landing pad directly to your right and the refactory directly in front of you. If you go through the refactory, it will take longer but you see a door that exits right besides the landing pad. You also think that you might be able to just make a mad dash pass all the guards if you were lucky. In fact, there are a few ATVs you noticed that are parked right next to the barracks. You dedice to:

A.Quietly make your way to the landing pad through the direct route
B.Make a mad dash through the direct route
C.Take an ATV and do it like an action hero
D.Go through the refactory
E.Other

Although I would love to see B and C, I'm afraid I must be inclined to select D. A is acceptable, but there are probably guards for either choice. If D leads right to it, might as well. Hopefully there are a lot of places to hide inside.

Option D as well. Option A was viable but seemed more dangerous.

You sneak your way towards the refactory entrance. You duck behind some crates as you allow a few guards to pass by. You make your way inside and see warheads being mass produced at an alarming rate. There are also plenty of guards patroling back and forth. You scan the area and see the exit on the opposite end of the room's right side. You notice there are two ways to get to the exit. You decide to:

A.Climb up to the rafters and move from the second floor
B.Stay on the first floor and make your way to the exit
C.Gun for the exit like a maniac
D.Make your way to the exit but note any thing you can sabatoge along the way
E.Other

D. I was going to say, where are all the sabotage and/or self-destruct options?

You stealthily move your way over boxes and creates and around warheads. As you look at the door, you get closer to it withe every move you make. You stop as you notice a core processing unit in the middle of the refactory. You climb up the stairs to reach the rafters and there is a small room you see where there are people controlling all of the machinery. They all seem to connect to the core in the middle of the room which seems to power the assembly lines. You look at the door and then at the core processing unit as well as the control room. You doubt, but you:

A.Ignore everything and continue your way to the door
B.Rig the core processing unit
C.Assault and sabatoge the control room
D.Stealthily make your way to the control room and sabatoge it
E.Other

B and then D, then out the door in time for the helicopter, hopefully.

I would choose B and D as well but if there's not enough time, then I'll go with D

E, kill everyone in the room, and then go on your way.

You stop to think before making up your mind. You make your way back down and begin to pry open the circuitry of the core processing unit. You mess with the wires and as you prepare to close it, a light illuminates you from behind. You turn around to see that someone up in the rafters has spotted you. Not a moment sooner, a sharp pain engulfs your right shoulder as you are shot by one of the men from the control room taking out your dominant arm. You run as shots whiz by behind you and alarms begin to blair throughout the entire encampment. You duck behind, some crates no more than thrity feet from the door placing you at a blindside from the control room. Shots zip by as other men from the refactory fire on your position. You unleash a volley of your own emptying a clip through ineffective blind firing and careful aiming. You manage to take out four of the two dozen or so men in the refactory. You reload and decide to:

A.Make a stand and kill them all
B.Make a break for the door
C.Surrender and see if they forgive you
D.Wait for an opportune moment to make a move
E.Other

Staying there doesn't seem to be a good idea. So Option B.

Fuck! That didn't go like I thought it would!

E. Light the flare, toss it over your position as a distraction, then make a break for the door firing loosely with your non-dominant. Hopefully the helicopter is there.

Hehehe. Holy shit, have I been busy. I'm not even sure if you guys will still pick up on this, but it's worth a try.

You pull the flare out of your pocket and snap it. As it begins to glow, you lob it over your position causing a momentary distraction. You book it to the door as the men realize your intentions. Bullets fly behind you as you make your mad dash. As you near the exit, it bursts open as four men break it down. You quickly holster the hand gun and fire like a maniac. You catch them by surprise and manage to cap one in the head while incapacitating the others. You close the doors behind you as bullets begin to dent the metal. You then turn around and see the chopper just touching down as well as notice men readying in dissarray closing in on your position. You then:

A.Make one final mad dash for the chopper
B.Hold your position here and try to kill them all
C.Surrender and see if they'll forgive you
D.Methodically make your way to the landing pad
E.Other

D, let's pull out our logic and tactile card. Won't have much time because of the guys chasing you, obviously. Be quick, but not insane.

So, You duck by some crates and fire what rounds you have left. Since you were shot in your shoulder, there is no way you can holster a rifle such as an M9. You worm your way over the mountains of crtaes keeping low as you methodically work your way through the maze to reach the landing pad. As the sea of crates end, you here men fast behind you. You stick your head out for an instant before a few bullets graze the crates and one nicks your face. The landing pad is no more than two meters in fron of you. You then here a noise from behind as you see the refactory light ablaze in a wonderful explosion. It seems those pot shots the soldiers took at you before seemed to have hit the core processing unit as well. In the momentary confusion, you decide to:

A.Make a mad dash up the landing pad ramp to the chopper
B.Make a dive to get underneath the landing pad
C.Climb the crates and try to jump on the landing pad directly
D.Stay your ground and wait for a more opportune moment
E.Other

We'll they're clearly aware of your position. I say B to make use of the distraction while rapidly moving to new cover, and perhaps, a way onto the pad.

As the men panic, you run and make a dive to get underneath the landing pad. You here bullets bouncing off the metal as men attempt to shoot you from your well defended position. You catiously make your way from one steel post to another narrowly avoding gunfire. You can here men mounting the ramp and some crawling underneath to attempt to flush you out. just when all hope seems lost, you notice there is a trapdoor above you. You hit it a few time and it pops open. You pull yourself up on the side of the chopper opposite from where the men are mounting the ramp. Another explosion with much more force knocks you off your feet as well as the men on the ramp. It seems the first explosion is triggering a chain reaction and the whole place is going nuclear. You quickly get up and slide the chopper door open. A surprised man greets you and begins to holster his gun. You:

A.Grab him and pull him out before sliding the door shut
B.Attempt to disarm him and take his weapon
C.Stab him with your knife
D.Reason with him that you're all gonna die if you don't escape right now
E.Other

I'd say B, but then A. Disarm and toss him out, you don't have time to reason and he could shoot you before you get to your knife.

The man pulls out his gun and aims at you. You quickly swat your left hand to the left to ruin his aim before punching him in the stomach and throwing him out of the chopper. As you slide the door close, a shiver of terror runs down your spine as the door on the opposite end opens. Four men take aim at yo before they are knocked down by the ever growing explosions. You hurry your way to the cockpit and put your knife to the pilot's throat as you threaten him to fly. He quickly agrees and he revs up the chopper. You here the rotors spin and you are off the landing pad before you know it. The explosions continue to grow stronger giving the pilot no time to ascend more than sixty feet and only time to move forward. He then says, "There's enough firepower in that base to take out the whole island. Let's pray we make it before it does." You agree with the man before noticing that the door is still open. As you prepare to close it, you notice a single man dangling on the chopper. He grabs your leg and pulls you out and you luckily manage to grab his foot as you fall. You feel the chopper begin to lean right substancially slowing it down before a boot hits you square in the face. You notice the explosions beginning to catch up as the chopper slows so you decide to:

A.Grab his foot the next time he attempts to kick you and use him as a human ladder
B.Stab the leg your holding onto with your knife
C.Let go, maybe the fall won't kill you
D.See if you can work something out with him
E.Other
