An idea for a roleplay

Well, I've decided that I'll make an (that one I was talking about here earlier) RP sometime after February.... or if I find a more fitting time for it. Posting info here because it's a good place to do so. I'm gonna post info about it in case anyone's curious enough.

It's gonna be a Fate RP of some kind. Just because I've been going around saying that I'll make something like that. I'm going to get Xenon as a Co-GM, NO BUTS YOU, YOU'RE CLAIMED, RAWR. Because you're mine. Xenon can help me with plot, and with all the proper ways of RPing and with the mechanism of game (not story terminology). I'll probably have Mibu on the helping side for information on the game's terminology, such as the technical things behind the fate world and stuff. I guess... Saibot also agreed to help with supplying ideas of legandary heroes for more servants.

This Fate RP will be set on something like a FAKKU city and will have connection to FAKKU more than you can imagine, you'll know once you explore the world of the game, maybe.

You can't make your own servant on this RP, you roll a dice, and show the results. And then according to your result; you'll get your servant. I'll think about whether you can choose the class on your first or not later.

We'll have only seven (7) slots. Meaning you play two characters, one will be your original character you make yourself, who is the master. The other is the servant, who you play as well, remember that you get your servant randomly after you roll the dice, so after it's decided which servant you get, you'll have to work on it up to some extent. You may get servants from Fate/Apocrypha, if you do get one from there, then all the Noble Phantasms (NP) will be fixed and you may not get permission to tweak of a lot of the skills there. There may be stats on the game, high chances of it, in fact. But we'll see.

And also, this will be a closed RP. I'll invite some RPers into this who shows interest on it. So if you're highly interested, you have to show it to me that you're highly interested and are willing to play and will always be able to beat the deadlines.

@Shana-tan-hime: I want in! I SOOOO badly want in. Man, I would have never thought of making an RP about Fate. Tis like a dream coming true.

Respectfully, I would decline to be a co-GM. If you want help with plot, check the Fate history, of which I know nothing of. Additionally, if you want RP mechanism advice, I'll give it to you free. I don't need to be credited with a role such as "Co-GM" especially because I wouldn't want to participate not knowing the series too well. This is why I prefer original RPs, or at least series of which I'm familiar.

I think a role of co-GM is just a fad. Traditionally, there is one single DM because when it comes to story telling, you're only listening to one person because only they will have the answer. Two people can argue about various things and three people is ridiculous. You only need one person to make decisions. If someone can be credited for development, or map design, then credit them, but making them co-GM implies that they will do an equal amount of story-telling as you, and that's simply inefficient. I don't recommend it.

And don't lock RPs. They already have a mechanism for screening applicants and it's called the character sheet. As small as we are, you'll be blessed if you have more than a handful's worth. You just don't need to expressively state your restriction of players because it discourages participation. For example, I would have been in the vampire RP if more slots were available.

Additionally, just because you plan to have a Fakku RP in the Fate universe doesn't mean that langying can't also have a Fakku RP as well. I personally think langying should just develop a mock introductory post for his RP open to criticism and we'll see how it goes from there. I also expect he'll make it before February.

I think he was getting that impression because of the back and forth earlier regardless of what was said. I just want to see his ideas because I want more people participating in this community. I really couldn't care less if it's not perfect because he can only get better. At least, that's what I believe.

When someone becomes a co-GM, the other GM doesn't become a co-GM as well. The GM and the co-GM are different roles; the GM still does all the storytelling. Most people know co-GM just means assistant GM, the guy who'll also know the technical rules by heart and be there to help the GM check himself or check the GM's actions. And yes, I want to see Lang's ideas. I want to see all of it, hehehehehehehahahahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'd wish to join the Fate RP if i'm allowed to. It has being such a long time since my rp-ing blood has boiled upon withnessing such an desirable rp to be in.

I want to join the Fate RP too Rise-chan. Hope you can give me a slot. I'm also pretty curious on what sort of servants/heroes will you be featuring. Will you be the one that determines the sort of hero or do we make a profile(after the dice rolling)?

I might need to make a thread specifically for the discussion of this RP. DX
