Halloween 2013 Writing Event

Halloween is a rewarding season. You have an entire day to show everyone your cosplay, or get robbed of candy in your own home by the next hundred 3' pirates and spoiled princesses accompanied by their dog-faced concerned mother, along with having cliché horror movies. But that doesn't mean we can't celebrate this old mainstream event! We can still enjoy the bizarreness of it, and use it as the inspiration for our writings for this month. Make a writing how you feel most inspired. You can amuse, horrify, or even give a heartwarming feeling, or whatever hits your mind! Be creative!

This is an event, not a contest, there will be no win or fail, but the story you make will be added on this thread.

Rules
1. Write in the themes of bizarre and/or Halloween.

2. Make your own work. Don't bother copy-pasting a story you found somewhere. If you want to share something, link it instead at the Writers' Lounge.

3. Do not ask for others to fix your grammatical errors, honestly. Just do your best effort.

4. Please include the tag " [Halloween 2013] " before the title when you make a thread so it is understod that it is part of the event.

Q: Are multiple entries, in other words more than one writing in the thread allowed?
A: Yes, but that is up to you. It isn't encouraged or disapproved.

Q: Are lemons (erotic stories) allowed?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I submit a poem, essay, narration, etc. rather than a story?
A: Yes.

Q: Will there be judging?
A: Nope.

Q: What will happen to my writing?

WHOO! It's been WAY too long since the last writing event up on here, and we have another!

Well, i might consider joining when i have free time. (I'm hard pressed enough trying to keep updating my fanfiction page, and now we gots an event here!)

Well, it's too late for me. I think I'll just join the next christmas writing event.

OT: Just wanted to say I loved posting with you all and seeing W&F more active. This was quite awesome and fun. I loved reading all of the works you guys posted and was left hungry for more.

I have to deeply apologize to Shark and the rest of you. I failed at early attempts to conceptualize the topic of what I wanted to write about and a lot of research needed to be done. With the addition of a lot of responsibilities that popped up and procrastinating a time to just sit back and write, it's apparent I've missed the deadline. However, I've been hard at work this last week writing it out and it's proven to have swept me off on its own. It's become a lot longer than I expected it to be, but I'm trying not to let my hasty attempts to meet the deadline as close as possible hamper the quality I expect out of it. If it's alright with everyone, I will aim to have it finished before Halloween ends tomorrow. Again, my sincere apologies for this delay. If you don't want to include it with the rest of the submissions, I understand, but it would do me a great honor if you'll make an exception for my unfortunate tardiness.

Also, I intend to read through the submissions I haven't commented on after my work on mine ends. I hope they serve to be as creepy and haunting as possible. I love Halloween!
