Just out of curiosity, why didn't you guys make these polls a front page topic? I'm sure there's a bunch of people who don't like to write but to read. More Fakkuzas will pay attention to our contest if there were a front page topic about this. I think our contest will be more lively this way, no?

I think Chronus14 really did us a favor by informing us about our entry being in the poll, and like myself, I don't think that our entrants really mind him posting it in our entries.

My feelings exactly...The entries in this one are really powerful. In fact, It's going to be really close i think...Wonder if mine was any good?

And...I didn't even know the poll was on until Chronos posted on my thread! Wow, i suck. But i guess the problem of front page rules would be favoritism and biased, no?

I also thought that it'd be kinda unfair to entrants of previous polls if we get a front page and not them. But think about it closely, I think that it's not all that favorizing. I mean, readers and chances are still shared equally to every entries, right? One of more reason: the numbers of voters are little, only 35 in the #1 and 34 in the #2, so maybe Xenon could take it to consideration, I hope?

Unfortunately, it is not my decision to make. Every front page post has to go through Jacob for permission and it sparked a bit of drama last year when we had three front page posts for the writing contest. A lot of people felt that we were taking away from the posts about actual hentai submissions for which is the purpose of this site. You can't really argue against that. The fact that we get one front page post is a blessing and I'm going to see it that way. That's why it was concise and small so it would avoid drama. I would like to have a second front page post to display the winner so that everyone on Fakku may read their entry, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't fly. I'll try to make it small and perhaps it'll go over.

In all honesty, it's probably better for the users for the polling to be secluded to the people who are more likely to do the actual reading of the entries (the writing section). Regardless, we must remain consistent, and so even if I could make a post, I would choose not to to be fair to previous polls.

In regards to Chronus, apparently your posting helps people. I never really minded to begin with, although I believe some authors were bothered because of all the spam. We're not moderators and we're not going to delete your comments, but don't be surprised if you get reported for spam by someone. If you added some kind of personal comment to the author or about the story, it might be different. Your choice.

I won't reply to the users who spoke in favor of Chronus, I can easily refute, but there is simply no need for me to do anything like that.

And for the front page post thing, I fought tooth and nails for this, be grateful you mortals just be glad that we got one in the first place.

It took awhile after I asked Gambler to speak to Jacob (which was actually a last resort of mine) but, many thanks to Gambler for finally getting receiving confirmation from Jacob.

it was the front page post that prompted me to enter the contest and I'm glad I did I really like the community I probably wouldn't have come to experience otherwise.

*Edit: I done goofed, you all were referring to poll #3 being up at the top of the front page of the writing and fanfic forum lmao

and I wouldn't say this poll and all future polls being on the top being a bad thing seeing as voting has not really increased much. so meh I'm not butthurt about it
