Haha, i don't really mind if i lose, it is a democratic vote after all, it just proves there is room for me to improve~ No one is perfect after all. Heheh, congrats to high_time and Zandorf for getting so many votes, I'm sure you guys deserved it!

I'll say, your story sure is famous. Not that i disagree, i really like the uniqueness of the Poem-ish style.
Still, everyone has room to improve, whether i win or lose, this is a valuable experience i shall treasure.

Nah not all my pieces are like that, some of them are relatively unknown and doesn't garner much comments nowadays. It's just about me trying something different than all of my previous works to create different results, thanks for the compliment btw =D
I would say the same for myself, this event will be a valuable experience for me to improve no matter what the outcomes are~

Unfortunately, it is not my decision to make. Every front page post has to go through Jacob for permission and it sparked a bit of drama last year when we had three front page posts for the writing contest. A lot of people felt that we were taking away from the posts about actual hentai submissions for which is the purpose of this site. You can't really argue against that. The fact that we get one front page post is a blessing and I'm going to see it that way. That's why it was concise and small so it would avoid drama. I would like to have a second front page post to display the winner so that everyone on Fakku may read their entry, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't fly. I'll try to make it small and perhaps it'll go over.In all honesty, it's probably better for the users for the polling to be secluded to the people who are more likely to do the actual reading of the entries (the writing section). Regardless, we must remain consistent, and so even if I could make a post, I would choose not to to be fair to previous polls.
Well, it's a shame to hear it though, 'cause the front page post was the thing that drew me into this contest, but if that's OK with everyone, I guess I can't have any complaints, right?

this is the right attitude to have, in the end its all for fun and you learn a bit more about what your capable of/ need to improve.

And Zandorf, i really thought i'd lose to you, i never won anything either. I'll try my best, for you too since we were tied to the last moment =). Everything here is a learning experience for me, and i'll always treasure it. I'm kinda happy my friend introduced me to this place haha. As in my signature, i guess it was worth it to believe in miracles =p. Thank you guys so much once again for this valuable experience! And the rest of you guys, keep going!
