//I took the opportunity, since we're all now in the same room to throw dice on Awareness and what your PC's might notice now about the others.
Here are the results:
@NeoStriker:
Since you are too busy keeping the act up, you made it very clear that you are obviously not using any of your skills except for the Rigging. So I am letting you stick to the conclusions you drew in your last post.
@Wordmangler:
Since your PC has the precognitions, you know exactly who the people around you are and what they are capable of. Even without that, your Sixth Sense is constantly sensing what the people around you feel, if they are lying, if they have good or bad intentions and if they are magically capable.
@ToyManC:
You just came in, so you don’t know any names except for the ones you already know (Sandman and Charon). Your direct scan gives you following results:
- N: That thing is a drone and you are able to follow the link back to the Rigger “driving” it. You know that he/she is sitting outside in the woods and you are even able to sense the exact location.
- Dr. Carruthers: No cyberware.
- Dussack: He has cyberware linked to his spine and brain and you can sense the semi-autonomous AI in there. No commlink (but you can assume that it’s probably off).
- ShadowFang: Standard commlink, not implanted.
- Britbrat: Cyberarm, left.
- Victorique: AR gloves, lenses and earbud, commlink in form of a rose in her hair, not implanted.
- Charon: Standard commlink, not implanted, but with huge database extensions and holographic emitter.
- Sandman: She is so full of cyberware, that you can’t make out any details atm and you can sense something very unusual and very complex in her brain area, but can’t quite figure out what exactly without further inquiry.
@Flaser:
Even without the AI you have Heightened Awareness, as your PC is atm even more paranoid than usual. But since you still didn't get the names of everybody around you, you got the info for the ones you could check up on via Matrix, the rest is just natural observation and experience.
- N: You didn't got his/her Shadowname either, but again, your AI is looking for the rather specific look. This time with a bit more success, you have the info that there is a Rigger by the Shadowname "N", wearing such a mask. But your natural Heightened Awareness makes you notice, that "N" isn't breathing.
- Dr. Carruthers: Nothing to find here, except for what you could see and hear in the past few minutes.
- Rudy the Rat: You got a full hit on that guy, you know his speciality is hacking and you even got rumors that he's a Technomancer.
- ShadowFang: You got most Shadowtalk about the original ShadowFang and on top of that a rumor, that he died 2 years ago and that some kid took over for him.
- Britbrat: Of course this is not a real Shadowname, but your experienced eye sees that he is not quite feeling comfortable.
- Victorique: You don't know her Shadowname yet, but she looks like high society, so your AI crossreferenced her face with known people from the luxury class, with marginal success. You got only her name (Riselotte Alexandre) and the fact that she's rich.
- Charon: Your AI crossreferenced everything from "Boatman of the River Styx" to "Charon" (natural logical conclusion), and was able to pinpoint the right guy. You know that he is some sort of hired gun with some magical abilities on top of that. You also notice that he is shying away from the girl in the dress, rubbing his nose.
- Sandman: You already covered this part. You know one thing that the Matrix doesn't know, and this is that Sandman's a girl.
@Damienthedevil:
You have 3 important attributes, which help you draw conclusions about the people around you, knowledge of a wide range of offensive and defensive combat techniques covering all aspects of armed and unarmed encounters (including ranged weapons), an asssassin's heightened awareness and the ability to judge your opponent's combat value and weapon skill before seeing him fight. And of course you have your standard commlink with Search programms on the standard Shadowtalk sites.
- N: Beside that N supposedly revealed that it is a “she”, you can’t be quite sure, because you know that this thing in front of you isn't human, but a machine. You already sent out a search and you know that N is a Rigger. Your natural conclusion is that the thing in the room is a drone and the real "N" could be everywhere from in the room next door to another part of the town. Also you can assume that the drone is not just for show, but could have anything from sheer raw strength to integrated weapons.
- Dr. Carruthers: You know that this is a dryad and that they are extremely rare, you know that their small bodies make them fragile, but by hear obviously unconcered demeanor, you can conclude that her potions are powerful enough to make her not worry about where or with whom she is. No Matrix results on this one.
- Rudy the Rat: Matrix results brought up that he is a Hacker, combined with a quick look at him, you know that he is probably far more capable on the Matrix then in a RL fight. And you can smell rats on him.
- Dussack: He didn't say his name, but you noticed that he took in his surroundings and chose a tactically good place to sit. You recognize yourself in him regarding skills. You know that he is a killer and good at it.
- Britbrat: No search results, but you can tell in one look that he is a newbie, but a newbie with talent.
- Victorique: You covered this already. You know, she's a corporate mage and you already correctly assumed that she is stronger than you regarding pure magical skill. But you can also clearly tell that she is extremely underestimating everybody around her.
- Charon: Search returned that he is hired gun. He seems human, but you notice that he has at least one heightened sense, which is "smell". He seems capable and could possibly keep up with you.
- Sandman: You got the same rumors about her, like anyone else. You also didn't know that she is female. Your Master told you about her, but he never met her in person. You know that she is highly dangerous. She is obviously not wearing any weapons, so you conclude that she is certain enough in her unarmed skills to know that she'll survive a possibly dangerous situation without any weapons.
@Kheldar:
You are still too inexperienced to notice anything serious. You just know the names and information, you already heard and generally you know what you can see around you. (And now is maybe the time to think of a nickname, unless you prefer being called whatever someone comes up with.)
@Rise-Chan:
You know what you already tried to check out and what your natural senses tell you on top of it.
- N: You assume the real N is a girl, but you know that this thing is a bot. You have no idea where the real N could be.
- Dr. Carruthers: You can sense that she is magically capable, but you still didn’t “check her out”.
- Rudy the Rat: His aura is fully intact, so you can only tell that he has no implants.
- Dussack: You can sense the holes in his aura and can tell where the implants are, but not what they do.
- ShadowFang: You already checked him out and know everything about his magical talents, but nothing about his trained skills.
- Britbrat: A normal average human, with a cyberarm on the left side.
- Charon: You can sense some magic here too, but also didn’t check out any details yet.
- Sandman: You can tell that she is almost on the same machine level as N – her aura is almost non-existent due to her implants.
@Bartre:
Since you just arrived and didn’t take any closer look on anyone yet: You know that Rudy is a Technomancer, you know that Marcus and the Doc are with Sandman, you know the rumors about Sandman and … you are overwhelmed by the perfume of the girl in the fancy dress.
That's it, people. Make the best out of it.//
