Here are some of my random poems for the past three years about life, love, making love, hate, food, work, school grades, tonsillitis, train stations, teas, steaks, plates, lockers, vampires, parents, cousins, grandparents, and friends. I write poems in English to improve my proficiency on commanding the language and to express myself. Feel free to comment, criticize, flame, or whatever. Thank you. :] [/font][/font][/font] Love VS Maya Spoiler:It's sad for me to hear I'm screaming silently and I'm pierced Wondering all along what I must hear I've found so many places which I belong But here I am just like a dead cold stone Everyone wishes to feel love Some are aiming high like a dove Don't they know love made me numb? Needless to say I've had enough So now am gonna' share then laugh love was so good to me Better than what anyone has done for me But this is how love now goes to me Love was good, love was great Love was the best thing that God can create Love was rare, love was once fair Love was everywhere like an air Love was unfathomable, love was controllable Love was something I needed to hold Love made me happy, love made me agree Love once blinded me for some degree Love embraced me, love made me pretty Love made me carry all of me But love confessed yesterday to me Love became honest to me And for the last time Love became so nice to me Love started to explain I started to feel the migraine Love said, "Calm down" I said, "Your aims keep me down" 'Cause you're unfair Your twin sister is the word despair You make humans compare And you leave all of a sudden 'cause you don't care You are a food A food for the weak and the good Why do you like making all the people to conclude? You never let the things fall as they should You're convincing people That a happy ending is possible And you're still persisting to shoot them all Funny how they can be deceived Knowing ahead of them, they'll just grieve Don't they have something else to believe? I know I sound bitter But through this people may comprehend love better Like they'll see how their lives can be the biggest disaster 'Cause they thought that love must grow fonder Love nodded and held me Love couldn't look at me Love whispered to me, "Maya, Can you still feel me?" I cried when love asked me I couldn't convince myself to agree Love said he was sorry I queried love, "Should I forgive thee?" Love answered, "If you do, will you still say I'm tricky?" Then I smiled with tears on my face I can't believe love's admitting what love is in this case Love said I'm the kind of a lady that love's like to chase But I'm the type of a person who always wins the race So then I understood That love and I can never be good Love told me, "I hate you Maya 'cause for you I'm just a food" But love doesn't know That without food I won't grow And the reason why I hate love 'cause, Love made me hurt wherever I go. Writing Spoiler:No one taught me how to write My mother said I'm naturally bright When I was a kid I've already had my own insight The pen and pad have always been my might Whenever I'm frightened I jot all the frights down That's the only time I start to calm down When days leave me a frown My entertainment is not a clown 'Cause my writings which can be crowned Keeps me sane by anyhow I write what my mind speaks I write until my heart bleeds And in the end even if I still feel a stitch I will never have my talent in writing With someone be switched 'Cause writing keeps me awake In writing I cannot be fake In writing I can share what I can create In writing everything I can make If there's something I can live without Aside from sushi, kimchi, and rice It's me writing with all of me in and out. How? Spoiler:How can I make a poem? When my words are not to be shown Do you know the feeling when your mind has flown? How can I express verbs? Which made me feel superb When right now my words are totally absurd How can I describe? These adjectives I can't find When I hardly leave those things behind How can I say? The words I've never wanted to go astray When even affection I can't display How can I flaunt what I feel? When I'm scared of finding what is real I'll just stick to what is unreal How can I know if someone's in delusion? When the circumstances play with the situation Apparently, everything has expiration How can I end if there's no start? How can I play with my broken heart? How can I breathe? How can I begin? How can I take back that kind of grin? How can I stay? When I want to walk away How much I deserve each lovely day? How much time do I have? How many surprises must I grab? How many more hearts should I stab? How will I take the scenes? Which only In my dreams they can be seen I know hurting myself is a serious sin How will I be able to handle? This crazy but blissful battle When all along I've always struggled How will I end this poem? When I haven't even expressed its bone I know these words I won't be able to own Unfinished Spoiler:I don't know what to write But my insides refuse to hide I feel a certain fright But I control it and make it bright Where must I go? It's a question I already know And I want is to keep it in stow 'Cause I feel tired enough to sow Should I Believe? Should I believe in predestined? When I even seldom believe in doctrine I'm happy that I am clandestine Though 'cause of this my head's boggling A few minutes later I'm again working In four hours I'll be sane and fake-smiling Every day I am wonderin' But in time I'll find out what really is happening Cleared Spoiler:I finally understood How things might go rude But the tickles inside me Seem getting glued I became fragile Breakable and bewildered I sometimes want to play rewind But my wishes were quite declined All of a sudden the doubts subside Hey, Do I sound expired? When I mask myself and hide It's like my common sense died When that thing has been fired I forgot to bring the shields I was required What are they I won't say 'Cause It can put anyone to dismay Real closer to a broken tray Though life can be so gray I won't let mine go astray For that's how I want to stay I hope you get everything I say Ephemeral Spoiler:Too much is enough I'm not anymore being tough I feel like drinking drought Whenever I imagine the doubt My dream about falling to that well It seems like it really is gonna' swell My clumsiness made me fell Come on, my heart is firing in hell But right down in hell I melt So last night I tried to knelt I can't fathom what I felt Feels like I'm on the edge And my stupid mind is drenched All I say are in French When I think about it I wanna' have some stretch Gloomy and alone sitting on a bench It's my sweet escape I can say everything straight I can do even whatever it takes But I'm scared to get replaced I always want to be chased But from the very start Everything has not to leave with trace. Pain Spoiler:How I wish I could get you out of your delusion 'Cause you're also blinded by the situation I'm good at giving no hesitation But babe please give me no frustration I'm trying my best to cope up But you say you want to give up Don't push me to stop 'Cause never will I give up You told me I treat you like a mop Don't you know that you're my frap? I tell myself, "I have to be sober" Thanks for everything! For bearing with my fishy things Not all the people can comprehend my mood swings But there you are Extending your both arms to reach me even I'm far Trying to hear my stories of love bizarre I know for sure you miss me I hate how we can't see each other badly One day I'll get back to you I will knock on your door and surprise you I will irritate everyone and tell everything I've been through But I promise not to bring bottles of Soju Oh how I miss y'all Especially when I dance and crawl Wait for me to get back And don't forget girls,I love y'all! Fragile Spoiler:I can see you're hurt And all I can do is nothing but to lurk I tell you a thousand times That I'm not getting involved to any dirt But you're still paranoid 'bout my ability to flirt I can't blame you if your instincts are absurd It's just that, you never want me to be a free bird Even though I can live the way I want to live It doesn't mean it includes making you grieve With you I've got loads of dreams to achieve Can you tell me when are you gonna' believe? Whenever you're hurt I'm always there I won't let you stay in despair Whatever it takes, I don't care I want you to feel how much I care Let me hold you tight I even don't want you to have a mosquito bite And I'll always be entitled to treat you right Though my brain doesn't have gigabyte I'll remember now and then How you love me and give me might I treat you like my baby When I touch you, you feel it unearthly true When you're feeling sensitive I'm here to pamper you Many times I shouted at you I noticed It made you blue I can still remember when I first slapped you Since then I never did again Thank you for loving me all over again You know how our love can be so true But sometimes it can also be dangerous like you You're fragile, sensitive and beguiled But you're the only one I desire Even if your jealousy bugs me a lot I'm still here holding on to you on the spot No matter what happens, how far I can be We will hold on to each other and it'll always be I'll hold your both hands as we struggle As we hold hand in hand we won't be puzzled I love you, don't be so blue 'Cause two months more left, I can again hug you I miss you! Leveled Spoiler:Butterflies! Not in my stomach but in my eyes How I try this feeling to be disguised Everything has been fantastically nice But I refuse to be happy before it reaches thrice I see nothing wrong one time or two Yet I will never end up being glued 'Cause clinging for so long Is one of the things I don't belong For me it's like occasionally wearing a thong Life won't suffice that everything would be nice That's what I learned in Spice Every day comes in a surprise But you'll never learn what it is comprised So Better be ready, better be wise Your heart and soul can be as cold as ice The feeling doesn't seem so bad It somehow close to the best things I've had Many times I feel my hands are magic wands From time to time I get the grand chance. Hostess Stand Spoiler:Every Morning I'm in a good mood Smelling the scent of great foods Smiling at people I never should My eyes are shining like Hollywood Sensible talkings, funny things Each day I learn numerous things I'll be missing this stand when I leave As much as I'll miss the stupidity and the grief My charisma became stronger And this stand made me a lot wiser My fluency for some it's such a bother but honestly, this stand I'll be missing forever Scandalmongers Spoiler:Have you ever tried asking? Why do you keep on blabbing? Maybe 'cause your life isn't interesting It's pathetic to see thee How you create stories like you're in elementary Can't you see you appear to be really funny? Why are you so nosy? Prying into others' lives freely Come and take my queries hypothetically What will you get from creating tales in your head? Does that require a maximum amount of sweat? But It seems you're enjoying Talking, blabbing and mocking I guess back stabbing is your thing Well as for me this is nothing Just wanted to make an article 'Cause I'm enjoying In writing your case There are lots of things to be traced Somehow I know when you read this For quite some time, you'd be amazed 'Cause no one deserves your fake smile And people like you deserve to die Whenever you gossip You become dangerously high You turn into being an unpaid spy Watching at things and make them fire Do you know how do I take your style? Eat, Pray, Love Spoiler:This morning I had a hot green tea Hoping at work I won't be late I've been thinking of having Sashimi And later, I'll grab a piece of cake As I walk by myself I pray To think that the Gods have always been leading my way I'm happy 'cause all of the things fall into place And I'm like a fast car winning a race I can overcome every single disgrace And no one can rub it off my face I know at times when I get displaced Someone will always be there to take place 'Cause I'm loved and I'm being embraced I've been exploring a wonderful and happy pace This path that I've been taking can never be erased And the euphoric feeling can never be replaced. Glue Spoiler:You've been knowing a lot From the things that you never got Isn't it the reason why you never halt? Pus Pus Spoiler:I lie awake tonight Pulling my own hair so I could sleep tight My thoughts of you, I can't set aside I'm hallucinating,dreaming,imagining I miss everything The scent of your hair with bliss Your lips and how they kiss Your nose which sniffs my neck And from there it goes down I'm gonna' be out of the track My shoulders, they freeze When you smell them and kiss I can picture your chest Which I badly miss Your smooch that's so fine Your body when you grind Your fondle when it strikes I want you to turn off the lights When you're on the top You're such a hottie When you roll me to the top I feel very naughty I can see in your eyes That you're crazily happy Especially when you sleep with me You're hugging me so tight As you tuck me to sleep with a dim light As you stare at me I want to kiss you more 'til midnight The next thing you'd do Is to kiss my forehead too And kiss me all over Telling me you don't feel blue The whisper in my ear As you say "I love you" Makes me want to go back Only just to be with you. Standing Spoiler:Where are you? Why can't I find you? I'm standing inside And playing 'Seek then Hide' I want to move the wall So when it moves, It's you I'll find I'm busy enough but I still move my eye You become the target just like the bull's eye A few minutes more and you're out of my sight I haven't seen you in a while I never noticed, you bid goodbye. Vampire's Lair Spoiler:Tall! When you see him, you'll crawl His fair-skinned body Can be chased even by a fawn He'd make you very timid And if you're not tough enough He may see you as stupid For he knows how to play with cupid And his grasp around you is very elusive If you dare to look in his eyes Not ever you'd know what they comprise 'Cause those eyes are insidious And with one shot, you'd be oblivious For some he seems dangerous 'Cause vampires are notorious Though some typical girls When they see him, It makes their hair curly So the other stereotype men see him as surly They thought that this vampire is cold-hearted Brusque, harsh and unwanted For they know nothing about vampires Aside from they melt in the sunlight But behind him I can hide There's no reason for you to be frightened 'Cause he talks a lot better than your nonsense He can be a companion, A great friend A vampire is not hard to understand 'Cause in his prehistoric times He's bright and shining The unexpected opposite Of what you're thinking He's being fed By taking the life essence of humans Yet he can also bring life to his friends He can be fun and he can protect Hence, he can be very funny like Shrek Who throws jokes then crack He shows up always at your back With a vampire friend you can always depend And please don't get me wrong I'm NOT a 'Twilight' fan I made this vampire stance For you not to understand I just want to make the vampire happy When I glance. Wonderful Today Spoiler:Someone greeted me this morning She said, "You look wonderful darling" As I heard it, I gave the world a very big grin 'Cause today is another day And no one would dare to block my way The version of my happiness within me Will continuously upgrade If I am to compare my life with anybody I will never trade Because mine's more than great And my giggles make me faint It's not my fault if I'm lovin' my fate I really don't care how you do rate For I already know That you can't fathom my faith And only a few can only handle my state. Hello Wednesday Spoiler:Today is such a happy day Just like how you treated me yesterday Even the sky is turning gray My vibes is still more than okay Why do I feel this way? Because there are countless of people Who love me every day My parents who call me princess And the others who tell me that I'm the best The fact that some remind me that I'm strong Whenever I'm being put to test They make me kick away all the distress Thanks to them who warn me That I'm smart and fresh And that I can beat anyone And boot them out even when I'm in a dress. Small Girl Spoiler:When I was a kid I've always wanted to be freed I've never called for help as i bleed For I've known how to handle When my problems are bundled But now I miss my mom's fondle I feel like I'm a kid again A little girl who doesn't know What is "Boyfriend" A baby girl who's holding a pen Who writes simple words With a handwriting of swirls And will cry freely As she outbursts Today, I'm still young but now a lady And I no longer hide behind daddy 'Cause the world has changed shortly And it now became the world of anxiety Every now and then I learn And day by day it gets absurd But to hell i care on earth Even the heaviest rain pours I still wear my skirt I will step on on everything That you will call dirt And will hear you not Even if you'll call me a flirt 'Cause i know myself a lot better And I'm intensively loved By my partner I'm grateful for every blessing That the Gods have given to me This is a story of fantasy Where the princess was treated like a baby And eventually has grown like an army So bold and clever A small girl who enjoys to wander Who found a dark place Where she could grow fonder Alone but never scared of any kind of weather So strong but can be light-hearted As a feather Now that my present rough road Gets better Little by little I'm getting even stronger. Tonsillitic Spoiler:I can hardly calm now 'Cause babe is sick now I want to sleep beside him But how? I picture how he looks like When his throat sores tonight I wish I could regain his might I want to cuddle him And take away all the feeling I wish I could be with him Nevertheless though I feel stressed I'm affected when I think of his hoarseness I long for his sleepy voice Especially the loss of his voice But whenever I miss it It only boils down to "I don't have any choice" I wish I could feed him 'Cause I know His difficulty in swallowing I wish I could just stand by Next to him Just like his tonsil Which goes to the extent Of touching his other tonsil I want to hold my babe And if only the pain I could grate I know I'd be feeling better And not so awake So please get well my babe You know not taking your meds Is what I hate Don't tire yourself too much 'Cause I'm not there To give you a body massage And don't forget To resist eating chocolate fudge I miss your touch When you're not feeling well Being not there with you right now Is like hell Locker room Spoiler:Today I feel nothing I'm tired of the everyday fighting The feeling is mutual But the misunderstanding is unusual Way back then I used to fret What kind of a creature like you can I get? Whatever it is that you can be when we fight continuously For me you're like an annoying bugging bee Now that I've grown a bit I know that I can handle if we painfully split For love can't always be pampered 'Cause it sometimes drains patience And the ability to understand will be left hungered I feel sorry today 'cause I'm actually giving up I know you'll take this as if you're being dumped Sorry if I sound so stupid And I even sound like I wasn't hit by cupid I loathe it when we debate Because every point is like an empty plate I know this one is what you hate I'm just trying to be very straight Train Station Spoiler:I awoke this morning Going to the motions where you used to SMS me I looked at my handphone's screen But all I saw was 'FIN' No message at all so I wanted to call 'Cause the pain is like a hole Come here, help me to get out and crawl Can you give me something to hold onto? 'Cause at this very moment I feel so freakin' blue. The Plate and The Steak Spoiler:I want to grow more. to learn more and to be more Mature enough to face every life's struggle. I try to keep myself sane 'Cause I never want to put Or to be put on a blame How come we became like this? And now we're almost out of the frame You can be my everything That's why i can easily be nothing But wait, what we have had were great And that we have loved each other With faith Now i feel like am an empty plate Which awaits for the juicy steak Like a hungry guest who wants her cheesecake And a pissed chef who's tired to bake I feel lost just like a person looking for a loo And waits badly for the very long queue I stopped for awhile and smiled at the sky I wished that last night's nightmare-like feeling died I'd bury my tears with a bad finger to fight my fears And I know that the time is near When I can shout out my cheer I won't wait for the half-cooked steak to be served with me 'Cause I want it well-done and be made tenderly When it is ready to be with me. Blue Flowers Spoiler:I see myself overly excited And there's no need for me to hide it The smile on my face And the feeling of being chased Everything I imagine is all full of grace You look at me from a distance And as you come to me, I try to control myself And give you a certain glance When you come closer to me I smell your fragrance Then suddenly you kiss me And I feel emotionally enhanced We make the most out of everything Every Night 'Cause we try to battle against the fright We are over the top of happiness When we are together And that the most difficult things Make us even stronger It's almost the same As when we ride the roller coaster Where we both hold hands As we shout out loud together Now I'm alone and blue 'Cause as long as I'm away from you I'm stoic and i keep on missing you The sadness tripled When you put on your specs And keep telling me your eyes get misty 'Cause we are being put to test My heart wanted to jump out When you awaited for me Sitting while holding a bouquet of flowers In the hotel lobby I felt so sad but very happy I hate the feeling When I'd be departed from thee I long for the times When you kiss me before I go to sleep As much as I miss When I awake you sweetly From your morning sleep I see myself overly gloomy And only by staying here with me Will tame me As we walk separate ways hurtfully Our eyes and hearts bleed violently Now that we're faraway again From each other I absolutely know that we can overcome this Over and over.
