I always enjoy more subdued and down to earth chapters like this.
Even though Shouko cheated with Hiroki, she did give him a sweet first time and some good life advice. It also looks like that was their first and only time they slept together. And in the end Hiroki did good in life with getting a girlfriend and Shouko continuing to be a good mother. A+ ending!

Another time and place (and maybe another artist), this scenario as it unfolded could have gotten really ugly. Even Touma-sensei could have made this turn out really dark, if he so wished. But In The End, and without revealing any spoilers for those who might want to see for themselves, it turned out to be a most unusual way for a young male to *koff-koff* awaken from his pre-conceived fantasies and delusions about women and sexuality.

It's chapters like this that make you stop and think if maybe we shouldn't have a more serious discussion about the content that we read.

Give in to H-logic and let your imagination go...But boy, you gotta wish you existed in h-land. This chapter is based on an old Japanese attitude, that a woman
must always affect a demure demeanor. No matter how lusty she
may be, and no matter how much sexual experience she has, she
must always pretend that butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.

In Hiroki's neurotic mind, that attitude has become perversely
warped---turned inside-out, so to speak. At some point, for
some reason, he started seeing a demure MILF with a child as
a sexual "hypocrite," since her kid is incontrovertible proof that
she has played with her husband's penis (or someone's penis).

However, Hiroki's obsession with a MILF's "true" sexual nature
gradually became even more deeply warped. Far from being
"proof" of mere sexual hypocrisy, a MILF's demure demeanor
is now incontrovertible proof that she's actually a hot, lusty,

In short, Hiroki sees a demure MILF as "fair game"---
