Yukiko is what you would call a RED FLAG! With how intense this prelude chapter started I hope it doesn't get too dark and depressing.

God let this be a series and not just one more chapter!
Intense, indeed.
I love dark family dramas, and Japanese dramas
tend to be particularly dark & disturbing, so I am
looking forward to a deliciously unhappy ending.
Yukiko may be extremely possessive, but even more
than that, she's vengeful. As a bastard child, she was
cruelly neglected by her family & she wants payback.
"This house is better off rotting away."
(page 6, final panel)
Yukiko uses the word "house" as a metaphor for
"family," which makes her remark quite ominous.
I love dark Japanese family dramas---with incest, murder, adultery,
illegitimacy, and vindictive young women---especially when those
kind of stories are set during evocative historical periods (like the
Taishō Era, as in this chapter).
I've been following Tama-Bon for a long time.
His nude figures, sexual poses, and character
designs are always excellent---and his stories
are great, too.

I think there will be at least two more chapters.
