I feel like this story’s timeline was jumping all over the place… there is definitely a flow issue that’s very jarring to me. Did anyone else get that feeling?
This isn’t really a criticism or quality judgement; it’s just my dumb personal opinion, but where else am I gonna talk about this shit?
Something about weak, passive, incompetent male leads like this has always been a turn-off for me, and I’ve never really been able to pinpoint why that is. I realize it probably shouldn’t matter at the end of the day, but the romantic fantasy of the story just falls apart in my mind when the dude has all the charisma, willpower and inner-strength of a dying insect. I dunno, maybe that reflects more on me than anything else.
You're not alone, I'm sure. It's not a dealbreaker for me but it can be irksome. Ikuhana Niiro's latest work, Resonance, had an MC that I could not stand. It was like I was understanding first-hand why women like confidence in men. However Ikuhana Niiro's art is god-like so I could at least enjoy that.
@EddieBeInBeddie:
We definitely need the "assertive girl" tag, for those
chapters in which the FMC's behavior doesn't quite
rise to the level of "femdom."
Also, the "assertive girl" trait combines well
with other traits, like kuudere and yandere.
28 pages of "Vanilla +"! Page 25, that's some gooooood vanilla :)
From getting caught scratching his nipples in the library to a tearful vanilla happy ending, this love story was 10/10 good!
Even at his most hopeless and embarrassing moments, Oohata never stops loving and supporting Ishi-kun. She's that ray of sunshine that lights Ishi-kun's life.
Missing the tall girl and eyebrows tags.
-@623, "I think the MC is just short. I don't think that girl is tall." its all relative lol. Gonna need a Short guy tag.
Oohata loves Koishikawa in spite of all his shortcomings---
including his puny pecker.
Outside shota tales, underendowed MCs are extremely rare
in a genre that usually depicts cocks (unrealistically) as big,
veiny sausages. Cocktail weenies need representation, too!
